But the difference is that Jow Forums is only 14 years old (it’s 2018 but it opened in October) while England is very very old, anime is still a big part of 4chans culture as it should be and you cannot ignore this because anime is posted on and recognised in every single/board except for the explicitly non-anime boards (like /wg/). In the 19th and 18th centuries America was still making a big deal about itself being an Anglo Protestant nation. My second argument is that Jow Forums was created for the set purpose of being an anime board, while the Anglo immigration came out of a desire to move to new land. Also, if you are going to make the ‘culture changed’ argument then you can’t complain of Jow Forums being full of anime since anime is part of Jow Forums culture.
