Why would you imply humans are an intelligent species?

Sure, there are some geniuses among us, but for every one of those you have about 50 dumb shits.

Also this Intelligence =/= benevolence. A good chunk of the smartest people in the world are probably sociopaths.

I approve this message

Did you knos humans are the only animals who a.) help dangerous predators like tigers despite the fact that any instinctual animal would slaughter them all? b.) expends tons of energy and time on finding ways to impact the planet less? c.) works to undo damage that was previously caused by other humans?

Human beings are pretty altruistic animals in the grand scheme of things and you'd have to be utterly ignorant to think that an exotic species in a new environment won't change it somewhat. The difference here is that humans try to mitigate that instead of mindlessly exhausting their availablr niches.
