I guess most just understand there is not much original posts they can make to be remembered by, so they put on a name to notify who exactly is posting.

if they dont want to be anonynous then they should get the fuck out of Jow Forums, or at least head to the shittier boards like Jow Forums and /b/

Actually, I think the main reason for so much of them existing here is the nature of the board. Every other board (except for /b/ maybe) has a topic for a discussion. Jow Forums on the other hand, doesn't have one, so the community is mostly centered on itself, rather than an external subject. This coupled with minor stuff like lack of moderation, flags etc. provided a fertile ground for people wanting to partially abandon anonymity. At least that's how I see it.
