Is there any mouse similar to the Logitech G700 in button layout and features? Specifically I'd like wireless with wired charging over USB, dual-mode scroll wheel (mechanical toggle clicky or frictionless scrolling as needed) is pretty nice, similar number of buttons (this thing has four on left side, three top left corner, normal three click actions, left/right wheel tilt, and one on the far back that I never use since it's positioned uncomfortably, all the rest I use constantly and bind useful functions for whatever program I'm using really)

Here's the button layout along with default key mappings I use for reference, of course changes based on applications in different profiles or AHK keybinds sometimes (since I think AHK's context sensitivity is sometimes more responsive than Logitech's auto-profile switcher so I often prefer to use that over making a new profile)

if the call is peer to peer (p2p), it means that you connect to the other party directly, exposing each other's IP. if the call is not p2p it means that your voice will travel through a relay server and then to your destination (this is what you're asking for). if the call is going through a delay there may be more latency.

i think i was wrong about sip being peer to peer, sorry.

thinking about it, i'm not sure about skype being p2p or not either, some years ago some people published that microsoft moved the skype protocol from p2p to client server. you could use skype over a vpn.

i'm not really sure what spy games are you playing, but the only way to make sure that your location will not be traceable is to use a vpn with a killswitch, meaning that your connection will drop if your vpn drops, instead of exposing anything. you will need to pay for a vpn.

I have a 3 monitors setup all plugged on a 1070Ti, but I only really use one for gaming. If I plug the other 2 on-board, will I gain performance on my 1070Ti from switching from 3 monitor load to 1 monitor load?

Let's say you have an image with text overlaid on top of it, and then the same image without the text, is it possible to subtract the background image leaving only the text? How would you go about doing so?

Old Dell laptop freezes at the bios screen 3 out of 5 times I turn it on. Passes all the hardware diagnostic tests. Runs fine when it starts.

For each pixel put abs( color1 - color2 ) on black bg and normalize result image afterwards. Thats if images are exactly the same apart from text. Otherwise you will need to do size and offset corrections first.

MSE is pretty shit too, I thought? It was installed on some work PCs on a site I used to run some years back and it was always missing viruses or malware that a combination of Avast and Malwarebytes (Avast active, Malware scan only when something's screwy) would turn up. But that was 2014, Avast was still somewhat decent then.

You really don't need to run an active antivirus if you're smart with adblockers, although it is nice to have something like Malwarebtyes in case something fucks up. Hopefully someone else can input something about the quality of MSE.

Nowadays I only have a few tabs open in Firefox, but something makes the fan act up. As in, the CPU fan goes into overdrive as if it's being overclocked when it isn't. CPU usage, physical memory, and CPU temperature are rather low yet it's only when I close Firefox does it calm down.

dun goofed, tried to copy 5 GB file (on linux, using cp) to a fat32 USB device, now it reports the space is used up, but there is no file (regular or hidden) to remove. How to fix, do I need to reformat?

I'm trying to delete a folder but keep getting this message. I am the sole user of the PC and am listed as an Administrator, but I cannot delete this folder. Windows 10 btw.

Even if you're listed as administrator sometimes you need to run as administrator to get admin privileges. You could either take ownership of the folder and then delete or try to run an elevated command prompt and delete using the command line, either one should work

Won't even let me do that.
I've tried logging in as the built-in administrator and it's no longer showing the Admin symbol next to the Delete option, but I'm still getting the same error as initially.

So I'm a moron and tried to print a pdf with personal information on a public computer (the document had my name and SS; it was on the public computer at the hotel I work at). I had the pdf saved on a USB stick. I'm almost positive I only opened it and didn't actually save it to the computer. It automatically opened in Microsoft's web browser (either Edge or explorer). I then printed the document. Is there anything I should do to the system to ensure the information / file is destroyed?
