Windows 7 isn't automatically going to break.
As long as NVIDIA keeps releasing driver updates there's absolutely no reason to switch.
Even then, Windows 8 with Classic Shell will do the trick.

No, I had W7 running on my Ryzen but there were too many stutters and other random shit issues like nagging about blocked updates so I went to W10.
Probably a scheduler or some other issue that will never get fixed.

No. Either install Linux or BSD, or pirate Winshit 10 LTSB and disable as much telemetry as you can. It'll still send out anonymous data afterwards.
The botnet was backported to previous versions of Windows. So you can either use Windows 7 without any updates or you can install the updates and get spied on. Your only choice for an up to date system without spyware is Linux, BSD, or hobbyist stuff like Haiku OS.
