Ryzen latency problems

I thought Zen+ would fix this shit ? Even worse than the 1700X

The human eye can't see faster than 60 nanoseconds anyway

so this means you would even notice this ? glad i waited for zen 2 then

the b stepping had already fixed the latency problem

aka the ones that started to release after september this bench clearly is a fucking joke

not so many tests available obv. its from friday so they should have already used the newest firmware

again even worse than the 1700X

This review is a clickbait joke, the didn't even got the system stable to finish the tests.
We already seen Ryzen 2000 with 60ns.

UMA DELICIA

We've already seen that zen+ can achieve ~60 ns. Shitty junglemonkey benchmark.

>cpu from the same gen with same clockspeed from same vendor have different latency

i nearly believed a random spic chart

The Spanish guy will make a lot money for preview.

they and the numbe3rs youtube chanel have the first tests. also intersting that they both only could get the thing stable at 4.2/4.3 ghz at. 1.4 so i doubt there will be much room for oc left seems like the xfr is already at the limit

POOZEN housefire confirmed

shut up Goy and buy intel it will make your VR faster.

You chose a bad topic to shit on the upcoming Ryzen 2 launch mr Shill sir.
Even unironically paid shills didn't go that far.

what is latency, op?

All the people who got one early are sandniggers and dirty chinks. They don't have the newest X370/X470 boards and are tesing on thtty older boards with no BIOS updates. Wait for proper fucking reviews autists.

Nice picture of a cool running Intel running at 100% to disprove your point. 56C is far from burn your house down hot, especially at 100% utilization.

The first thing in every literally every Ryzen thread with benchmarks here is calling the OP an Intelshill

Wait for official benches. It will oinly be a 10% uplift at most. But that's still good enough for anyone outside retarded 5% for 60% additional cost gamers.

people who get zen+ are retarded either get a discount zen or zen 2

Overheating Intel damage control.

Huh? I would definitely get Zen+ if I was upgrading from some Sandy shit or something along the lines. Getting the extra clock speed without going through silicon lottery is a great thing. Every reviewer saying 4GHz on Zen is easy should off themselves, Zen+ has much more than that out of the box. That's good news albeit a little disappointing even for a refresh.

Threadripper fag here. How's my memory latency? Wouldn't the motherboard / chipset choice influence this too?

tested on an Asrock X370 mobo you butthurt faggot

all those numbers seem reasonable except the 2700X one, which disagrees strongly with what the CPC review showed...

oh, nm, spotted the issue here.

Welp, I forgot this got an animu. Thanks, user.

The Taichi? That thing is such overrated trash. Doesn't matter if it has the best VRMs, the BIOS is a mess. I'll take this with a grain of salt still.

too bad that amd is so incompetent they would even manage to loose with 7nm against anther 10 nm intel generation

>Intel themselves said not to expect much from 10nm. They actually said it would be slower than 14nm++ to begin with and focusing on laptops. Expect to be paired with Vega or Raja's poo in loo iGPU solution.

Trips of truth

>no-name spic "technology" review
>pre-pre-pre-alpha BIOS with lots of stability issues
>80ns latency while people can get

Lol, Twitter who's is where you get your news

Yes, a literal nonupgrade is going to need a super duper bios

a socket change a year keeps the soyim in fear

>7nm
It's a marketing name, fin pitch is larger than Jewtel's 10nm

call me back when its X470

don't care
IBM black magic will deliver

the only difference between the two is the new XFR, which is irrelevant for anyone overclocking

>the absolute state of amd
good observation

Attached: 1515044920479.jpg (552x661, 71K)

L2 latency is getting dropped from 17 to 12 clocks (same as last gen's TRs and Epycs actually).
L3 latency supposedly also getting a drop too, albeit smaller.

Zen has high latency by default, it's related to how the architecture works.

because tacos should stick with wall building.

finally someone with a working brain, take notice poozen fans.

English should be taught with memes, it's the only way to educate Amerifats

But the word "hindjews" always made me laugh.

OH NO NO NO

Does latency realistically affect anything outside of audio engineering, or production?

>Aida64

Son españoles, maldito imbécil.

where is their 10nm parts?

viceversa, that's how I would spell it just based on phonetics, uma delicia is another word that is spelled how it sounds.

that's really the only problem with english and spelling, a good fucking chunk of the words are words you need to know how to spell to know how to spell them, if that makes sense, along with grammar that is you have to know it to know it. There is no reason for a lot of what we do as far as writing and grammar goes, its just you better know it because there is nothing to suggest this is how its down.

And where is your 10nm process Brian?

I was under the impression that games are always GPU bound, so if I have any modern CPU I'm covered. Is this not the case?

I have Ryzen 1700X with 3000 MHz RAM and the most intensive thing it has to do is to play games. 8 cores is nice so I don't have to close everything when I open a game.

delid this

you are correct.
people here would be pissed to know that I have a 980ti and an i3 and game at ultra everything with a nice 80+ frames

>intel ""10nm""
With the restrictive DRCs that Intel uses to cope with their half-assed process, it might as well be on par with everyone else's 10nm in real-world transistor density.

what a very convincing benchmark that is. to test the cpu first on the old socket instead of the new one. really makes you think

1% frame spikes are shitty on quads without hyperthreading tho

t. 6600k at 4.6

Is it a problem?

RYPOO GARBAGE HAHAHAHA

And both Samsung and TSMC have superior transistor fin height than intel's 10nm

>8 cores is nice so I don't have to close everything when I open a game

Anyone got that long list of 'doesn't matter' for Intlele shills?

>el chapuzas informatico
La creatura...

>Multi-core doesn't matter!
>Price/performance doesn't matter!
>Performance per watt doesn't matter!
>Power usage doesn't matter!
>Temperatures don't matter!

>Data centers don't matter!

>OEMs don't matter!

>Upgradeability doesn't matter!

>Synthetic loads don't matter!
>Burnt pins don't matter!
>*NEW* ECC support doesn't matter!
>*NEW* PCI-e lanes don't matter!
>*NEW* Power draw several times the TDP doesn't matter!

To be fair the correct spelling is UMA DELÍCIA, but since english speakers are not accustomed to using accents we can let that slide.
