brand new everything from 2018 >mfw RAM and GPU prices are insane
>how old PC from last year, 4k monitors from this and last year, smartphone last year, more interestingly, >Pioneer VSX 5.1 surround receiver from 2006. Still using it with SPDIF. That's the oldest technology I've got that I use daily. I guess it's also the piece of tech I have that I've used both the most and the longest.
Desktop (Custom) Most 2009-2010 GPU around 2012 AMD PHENOM II X6 1090t 16 GB DDR3 AMD R9 270x

Don't really play new games so I gave up with the whole constant upgrade thing. Bout only thing I upgrade anymore is storage for my server & for backups. Phone - 2012 (6 yrs) Desktop; CPU dates to 2010 (Phenom II x4) Windows 7 (2010) Server: OS; dates to 2011, WHS 2011 Encoding workstation; 2007 Laptop; Toshiba A series 2007/2008 (maybe?)
Bout the oldest part I had was a Lite-on 8x DVD burner (IDE). Bought new in 2004. Finally died back in 2014/15.
Jason Allen
Keep your Phenom X6. Older games really suck on newer cpu. (FX series was really bad at this)

My 2010 MacBook is still my daily driver. It still runs ok with ram and ssd upgrades, but it is really time to get a new one. Too bad modern MacBooks blow, not sure if I'll ever buy Apple again. They just can't beat their old stuff.
My tv is also from 2010 and still looks fine, I also use my iPod classic daily. Battery is totally shot though. My alarm clock is from 1985.

>2008 phone I'm assuming it's a feature phone? I'm kind of an "upgrade itch" whore. My stuff doesn't last long. >Desktop 2016 self built but slight upgrades since >Secondary desktop 2013 >Laptop 2012 but I only got it 6 months ago >Phone 2017, longest I've had a smartphone is 14 months. >Monitors 2015 and 2017 Oldest tech still in use at my house is a terrible 14" 720p tv from circa 2005-2007. That and my GameCube. How the hell do you people stomach using smartphones more than 4 years old? App support gets shitty after 2 years imo.
>App support gets shitty after 2 years imo. A Nexus 5 from 2013 has Android 7 whats the problem? Everything still works. Just had to replace mine with a 5 X because i broke the display.

I should have mentioned, non-flagship phones. I usually spend $100-$200 on phones and get about a year out of it. Feels better for me than spending $600 on a flagship, even if I did manage 4-5 years out of one.
