Bump for interest

Bleachbit. Was good enough for Hillary's IT team to rely on when wiping their server. It should be good enough for you too.

there not need to use this kind of software

Thanks user

sudo rm -r /var/log
sudo rm -r / var/cache
sudo rm -r ~/.cache

Why? And says who?

CCleaner is free

Yes. It's called clean master. Comes with several shiny features! Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself

Bleachbit

Bleachbit like previously mentioned also comes extended cleaning similar to ccenhancer

Bleachbit is the open sores alternative.
System ninja is good too.

I use the ccleaner command line as a script every day, is it botnet or something?

Bleachbit

you must be a retard

enjoy your working directories being overly bloated full of unnecessary temporary cached files..

CCleaner is also malware

malware

malware, wake up sheeple

Too autistic, and also no registry cleaner tool, no individual cookie management, no inbuilt uninstaller, no startup editor, no context menus editor, no nothing basically.

The licensed version contains those features.

>registry cleaner tool
Manual processing for quality control purposes.

Yes, and ccleaner has that plus more for free.

Prove it, schizos.

Excuse me, but what licensed version? Bleachbit doesn't have a licensed version. Just a donate button.

Are you honestly shilling CCleaner when it has been proven to be compromised?

Piriform shill detected

enjoy your malware kiddo

>proven to be compromised
I haven't seen proof of that. Enjoy your subpar fossturd software as usual.

CCleaner isn't malware. Enjoy your tinfoil hat.

Oh sweet child .. I used to shill this program too

Search engines are your friend and will provide all that you require for illumination. Next you're going to tell me that Windows is secure?

Think they mean the exploit that was patched after like half a day back in 2017. Even then, it's gone.

>back your argument up with evidence
>haha lol just search online xd

Literally patched within a day. Try harder, faggot.

So BleachBit as an alternative to CCleaner, but what about an alternative to Defraggler?

CCleaner downloaded a Trojan to my Windows PC back in September 2017 I believe. Someone working with the company created it to steal information. Not sure if it is safe to use right now, but I still do on the only Windows PC I have.

If you delete the /var/log folder is it re-created after a reboot?

a glass of water
It's a fucking placebo.

>implying anyone actually uses the registry cleaning function
It's known to brick your shit. People just use these things to deep clean their shit better than native Windows does.

I know it doesn't exactly perform the same function, but when I'm looking to prune disk space I use WinDirStat.
It gives a visual representation of space occupied in blocks, so it's easy to spot the culprits.

Yap. This kind of advice is reason I love g and (8/2)chan. Thans user.

>deep clean their shit
just don't make a fucking mess of your PC. Is this so hard for you?

Not all programs that are uninstalled, remove their registry entries. Some need to be removed manually or with a registry optimization tool.
