I thought it would be a good replacement for uTorrent 2.2.1 but it just lacked so many basic features.

>torrents are only for piracy

Try qbittorrent.

>Try qbittorrent.
So what does it do better than Deluge?

I personally couldn't get into qBittorrent.

Kept eating my CPU.

Transmission 2.93 is nice, though.

I get stalled all the time

What makes one better than another?

>can't find torrents with seeds
>blames his client

QT applications are more qt than pigdisgusting gnomeshit.

It's got a search engine with user extensible plugins, I haven't even seen a shady shitsite since I switched to qbt.

Well, I'm on Windows so it's the qt version.

It's a shame that deluge's interface is so slow but there are no alternatives.

Features I guess?

I'm trying qBittorrent again, after having the stalled problems with it.
And no, it wasn't a lack of seeds, because the same fucking torrents worked on other clients.

Didn't have any problems yet, but I haven't download a lot of things, specially, haven't download any big torrents.
I hope it stays working, because it has the best UI by far, and have every feature I could wish for.

you're all faggots

Ubuntu has official torrents as alternatives to download over HTTP.

cause it's already great user :)

Does it support RSS feeds?

Transmission + Transmission Remote GUI are the only correct answer.

Transmission just works for me. Have used it for years.

how stable is the windows version of transmission? just saw on their download page that it's an "early preview", so I'm guessing it's not very mature on windows yet?
looking to replace my age old uTorrent, getting nervous running old software with regards to security vulns.

People seriously falling for this bait...

It werks for me but do this unless you prefer the native interface.

This and only this.

yep that's exactly the vulnerability I've been thinking about. haven't been torrenting much the past year or so, but looking to get back into it. guess I'll give transmission a try.

As long as it has an RSS downloader to make weekly animes braindead and uninvolved and a way to stop the torrent without seeding on completion I don't really mind.

Which is why I'm currently on qB. Deluge was okay but I was having remote desktop errors (also used webui, just depends on where I was at the moment) and also forced a 0.5 seed ratio as much as it could.

r8 my shitpost

is there someway I can change the display language with the windows transmission qt client?

Just had a new release. It's fucking great.

what makes it better than other clients for you?

Seeding how many?

6

Attached: file.png (1110x538, 43K)

So it's bloated as hell.
This is 951 with 25 actively seeding.

How do they know what client are you using? Can't you fake the torrent client user agent?

gr1 b2 m3

I know this is bait but you're still retarded.

Wow, I think we've found someone from government. Looks British to me

If you're fine being banned when they realize your client's peculiarities don't line up with the official one.

so ask them to whitelist it

why do torrents do this?

>btpd is lowest
I miss btpd so much. It's such a pity it was never updated to use DHT and stuff.

Attached: aa4.png (1302x1301, 94K)

Honest question. How do you not hurt yourself daily accessing the internet?

probably by baiting people like you

rtorrent

Add two zeros and I'd be interested. For just 6 torrents that's not looking good

transmission + remote qt gui

Feels like utorrent 2.2.1 to me. It's good enough for me but I don't torrent much so I don't how it handles large torrent libraries or stuff like that.

rtorrent and mpv/wget directly from VPS :^)

Get this brony malware out of here you fags

>tfw there will never be a good replacement for utorrent on windows.

qbittorrent is the way, I use for a long time uTorrent 2.2.1 with mora than 2500 torrent seeding, that was horrible. I move to qbit after the vulneravility meme, and now with more than 3000 torrents I can say that Qbittorrent is the BEST client torrent on windows. If you want to export your utorrent torrents to qbit you have a script for that on google.

guaranteed replies

I use it right now and It's simply inferior.

Qbit always ends up stalling certain torrents, uninstalled this again for the 3rd time a few days ago.

Meanwhile in uTorrent 2.2.1 land
Ok I apparently can't upload the new capture showing 301GB uploaded with the same maxed connection for the past 10 hours.

started using aria2c

>Meanwhile in uTorrent 2.2.1 land
I use 2.2.1 and Bitorrent, qbit is hit or miss, I only used it because my 2.2.1 wouldn't load magnet info, realised my bitorrent would.
I like trying software so have used many torrent clients.

fine bait. well played on all the replies

i still use Utorrent

I hope you get terminal cancer this year for being this much of a dumb nigger. Stop browsing this forum

deluge master race

Tfw rtorrent with a web frontend.

Attached: rtorrentfootprint.jpg (502x158, 22K)

dis.
testing flood now, it's bretty gud even though it needs node.js and all that comes with that.

Flood is missing tons of the rutorrent featureset, like autodl integration, ratiogroups for timed/automated actions, and plugin support in general. Plus it runs poorly when you're updating tons and tons of torrents.

i'm not a heavy user so it's fine for me.
but i suppose i will keep rutorrent in mind if i ever hit the wall with flood.

BLIZZARD, facebook, twitter, and spotify use torrenting for like all their shit

Transmission just works
