70s: you don't buy Chinese anything 80s: you buy Chinese minerals 90s: you buy Chinese plastic shit 00s: you buy Chinese assembled electronics 10s: you buy Chinese designed electronics 20s: you fly in Chinese designed jets 30s: you use Chinese designed semiconductors 40s: you use Chinese genetic engineering to make catgirls for domestic ownership
When did you realize that China is the future of tech?
I'm not a chink. It's just undeniable that China is the future at this point. I would rather have Japan but they got btfo in the 90s and never recovered.
China is the future of the world. Economic might is military might and without democracy weighing them down, they are eclipsing the US. I predict they will emerge as a new class of superpower never seen before, and slowly all countries will bow to them or face annihilation.

AMD's cat cores were designed in China. At least Vega and Polaris but probably most GCN chips were designed in Shanghai. This is the RTG team photo taken shortly after Vega announcements. They designed Polaris and Vega.
It will be a scary thought flying in a Chinese built plane though. You will never know at which moment it will malfunction, crash and kill you. Build quality of China is terrible.

Japan would've lost control eventually after spreading too thin. Asians love rebellions, even more than europeans.

>Asians love rebellions, even more than europeans. Communism fixed that

If only they had focused more of their resources on the kwantung army and collaborationist with the aim to kill as many soviets as possible.
Is it really "Chinese designed" when they just stole the designs in the first place?

The soviets were literally armed by Americans. Lend Lease didn't just give them tons of vehicles and weapons and raw materials. It also gave them tools and designs for manufacturing. Asia post WWII was a burned out shithole and probably the worst place to be, followed by more conflict in the form of civil wars. By the mid 50s a good deal of China and almost all of Korea were smoldering wastelands

This is the fault of Capitalism

Lend lease didn't start until 2 years after the end of the Japanese-Soviet border conflicts.
Gavin Richardson
chinks have started manufacturing rifles for their military that can use their own and NATO rounds
>China is communist because it's a one party state controlled by the Communist Party of China >China isn't communist because they have embraced free market capitalism that has allowed them to be the economic superpower they are today Well? Which is it because nobody can ever make up their minds about it.
The Chinese Communist Party claims that they will have built up a sufficiently large industrial base to make the transition to communism beginning in the 2050s. It would surprise me if they did, but given all of the other feats the country has pulled off it wouldn't be completely unexpected.

There's plenty of entirely domestic chinkshit, including competent complete microprocessor architectures

Remember that the Soviet Union had the New Economic Policy for a few years in the 1920s in order to harness capitalism to help the country recover from the civil war. Bukharin wanted to continue the NEP indefinitely, while Stalin went ahead with central planning. The chinese could be pulling some sort of turbo-NEP, as suggests. Many of the foremost companies are state owned, and not a scrap of land has ever been privatized.

20s: you realise your mistake and go back to western designed electronics 30s: manufacturers have to pull out of China entirely or lose control of their products
Julian Foster
China is some quirky new flavor of dictatorship of the proletariat that tried once to create lower stage socialism, decided that industrialization solely through state initiative wasn't going to be that successful, and has temporarily retreated into a carefully managed state capitalism.
