Btw KDE's file chooser has thumbnails

On xfce there's tiny thumbnails but you can also just drag a file from file manager on the file upload button. It could be better but it's manageable.

If and when Firefox works 100% as expected via Flatpak, use the Flatpak version with KDE to force use of the KDE file picker.
