Humans aren't robots, not everything needs to be 100% logical.

12 months in a year, 30/31 days in a month, an infinite amount of years
It makes sense to me.

He wasn't wrong to ask that though. OP's post in that pic says "Celcius" instead of "Celsius".

It should be when the entire world population fucking use it a dozen time a day

Compare it with their food pyramid and then it all makes sense

You know what else is "illogical and different" and we use it more than twelve times a day? Language. Why don't we just speak one universal language?

Speaking of language, let's speak of one language: ENGLISH. Why is the spelling so unlike the pronunciation? Wai don't wi meik it mor funetik so that it wil bi iziur tu lurn?!

Or number systems. A base-twelve number system would be FAR more logical than a base-ten number system.

Wait! Why don't we switch to a more compact script than the Latin script, because the Latin script takes up too much space.

HOLD ON... why don't we use Kelvin instead of fahrenheit OR celcius? It doesn't make sense to have NEGATIVE temperatures

I could go on and on and on with countless examples. It is ILLOGICAL to try and make everything 100% LOGICAL.

Americans are prtty smart if they can balance month on top of day like that

Wi haev negetiv temprechar bicaus no point of yuzing so big nambars for awar saraunding temprechar. Beys evrithing araund wauter.

>why don't we use Kelvin
Kelvin is Celsius retard, it's just adjusted so that 0 is the absolute zero.

no need to be rude you know
some people just have really small brains is all

My point is that there will ALWAYS be more logical ways to do "x", but if we keep updating as soon as we find these more logical ways people will get confused and will have to constantly change what they use in their daily lives. Even with just changing to metric, so many things would have to physically be changed.

Maybe you're used to poeple saying "Duhhh but ur wrong evn if yor rigt" and that's you try to sound smart. No need of that friendo.

You're mostly right mate. No need to get angry.
But how 12 would make more sense than 10 ? It's easier to learn for kids too right ?

I'm 100% with you about the langage. Though, maybe in the future we'll have a common langage at some point.
Hell, I'm french and have my own culture, but I dont mind speaking english everyday if that means we break some cultural barrier

Obsessed

Those examples were made out of mockery. I dislike the idea that everything needs to be made 100% logical and the same throughout the world, because if seriously implemented then not only would individual cultures be destroyed but humans would be overwhelmed and not be able to keep up. We'd have to keep constantly updating everything and changing how we do things, nothing would stay consistent.

americans have big gei what is there more to say?

HE HATES IT

why is it that important where you put the year tho
i mean it only changes once a year

Attached: 1427019530226.png (480x480, 124K)

that's true

usually when i'm speaking i say the month then the day, like for example, march 25th, instead of 25th of march.

it's just putting it into text the same way you say it

Using the US standards for M/D/Y, we gain more immediate context regarding one's place within the year. The month is more pertinent information to gain perspective on how far into the year you stand. Human's process a list of digits one at a time, it isnt like words. Thus, processing the MDY arraignment is quicker and more efficient than using other arrangements.

Attached: 1532023409934.jpg (370x327, 33K)

For example, using European D/M/Y, we process the day first, this information is not very important, we need to know WHICH MONTH we are in to understand why this date is important. We assume each month has about 30 days, so the day, the most primary information in the arraingment, can be 1-30 amongst any 12 months giving us about 360 options for potential days. When we process the month first, only 12 options. Our arrangement expedites this cognitive processing.

We could also rankine scale

>But how 12 would make more sense than 10
12 is a super composite number so multiplying and dividing would be much easier for a lot of numbers. With base 10 it is usually easy to divide by 2 5 and 10 on base 12 it would be easy divide by 2 3 4 6 and 12 .

>Duuuh me forgot da month 'gain

It's more relevant to know if it is July or October, than if it is the 15th or 22nd.

It's also why we say the time is 9:45, and not 45:9.

No

A roller coaster is fun. Smooth sailing is boring af.

Why do you care, nerd?
