How does it know which key you pressed? It's cardboard after all.

IR sensors.

watch the icarly video on it

This, there are youtube videos that show inside of it. All of them use IR sensors that look like little pieces of tape and then the joycons scan for them or something.

I checked a second, is not using the infrared camera of the pad?

well that's actually pretty clever

>nintendo anything
>Jow Forums related

Why there is no chink plastic version of this like we used to have with Google cardboard?

uh yeah?

this looks cool and fun despite the silly concept

onions

Because it's not even out yet.

Are you 10?

SEETHING

its open source you can find the building plans online, just compile it yourself

Ok thanks, I don't play games so didn't know
Cardboard are clumsy and will be easily be broken by kids
I'd say chinks can build a plastic version (or cast iron version for the robot) for cheaper and people will buy it.

Forget ir sensors
It's jewish magick and causes cancer either

Each JoyCon has an IR emitter and IR camera, and the end of each "key" has a specifically shaped piece of reflective tape.

Nintendo were really clever designing all this stuff.

>IR sensors that look like little pieces of tape
do you know what sensor means you fucking brainlet

>I'd say chinks can build a plastic version (or cast iron version for the robot) for cheaper
you're paying for the software, the cardboard is a "bonus".

i find it most amusing you can buy a full sized piano for the cost of branded cardboard.

Basedboy

It only has one octave so it is trash

infrared camera in the controller looks for reflective stickers on the keys

Nah, only the right one has IR tech

>only one octave
What's the point?
