LCD2 with fazors, or the LCD2 Classic for even darker

I have doubts about the comfort of those and also I've heard that many people have to EQ their LCD2C, I want something that works out of the box with no extra trouble

Attached: 1435483925155.gif (500x506, 172K)

People EQ them because in stock they're very warm and very dark. They were uncomfortable as fuck before the model update to suspension headbands but are comfy nowadays.
If you don't want Audezes you could try MrSpeaker, Focal Elears, HE400s, or just good old HD650s if you don't care about bass extension.

I am kind of intrigued by Audezes but I have my doubts as I said. Also possible QC issues. One headphone that I'm also considering is Atticus even though it's closed

Did they get around to refitting the suspension headband to models besides 2C and the 4? The headband was one of the sore points about the LCD line.
The sheer mass of the cups can be problematic in other ways, but nothing like neck strain IME.

All models now have the new headband, check their site

what is considered an upgrade to hd598s?

Please leave, you are the worst poster in these threads.

where’s based IP counting fag when you need him?

Yeah, they refitted all LCD models with the suspension headband used on the LCD2C. LCD X with the new headband is actually very comfy

I'm thinking of getting a pioneer plx500, do I need an external headphone amp for it? I am planning to use my M70x headphones.

Looking for a new headphone dac/amp. Budget is 200-250 CAD maximum. Coming from an SMSL sd 793 ii. Preferably the unit would have 1/4inch headphone out, optical at least (would settle for usb), some sort of line or pre out, and enough power to drive t50RPs to be very loud without maxing out the amp. Main contender has been the micca origen g2 but i hear reports of poor audio quality. Also considering a Sanskrit + Sap ii pro but this is almost maxing out my budget. Any better ideas?

I pulled the trigger on the TAKSTAR PRO 82 for 50 eurobucks from some chinks, did I do OK?

Are there some nice noise-cancelling headphones that can also be used for desktop use you'd recommend? Thinking less that $99, II want them for a flight coming up.

d-d-dead general

What's a good listening chair for $300 or less? Looking for something good for headphones so stiff headrest but still can fall asleep in. Wanna be ultra comfy.

HD650

Yeah

Chink Eames lounge chair.

I wanna lick her feet.

Planar headphones are ideal for electronic music. Nothing else handles it quite as well!

hd600 are ideal for all music. Nothing else handles it quite as well!

You did it, /hpg/. You drove everyone away. Now all that's left is shitposting into the void.

i blame everyone but myself

haha no

I've being here talking about headphones since before the first /hpg/ and intend to remain for as long as i'm alive.

What's /hpg/ with Miniso headphones?

Attached: 0d1078cc7229348a00aa160d598aafa9-view.jpg (450x630, 16K)

/ptg/ did the same thing

I'd probably get the Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT or similar.

>No +/-1db driver matching
Haha, yeah. HD 650s are, btw

What are some comfy over the ear headphones for travel? Something that can fold up. I have some DT-770s that I used to travel with but they are too big. Then I went to some Shure IEMs but those are annoying and not comfy. Every time the flight attendant asks if I'd like more bread I have to pull them out and go through the whole sealing process again, so I end up using some shitty earbuds for half the flight.

budget?
wireless/bluetooth required?
ANC required?

What do you guys think of etymotics?

>budget?
I'd like to spend 250 or less, be great if I could do it for 150.
>wireless/bluetooth required?
No
>ANC required?
No. I hate having to battery power my headphones and don't find it works that well.

And I'm kinda eyeing the V-Moda Crossfade M100, even thought it is over budget. Hoping I can do something cheaper.

Certainly not for my ears. Really uncomfortable.

Are the DT990 Pro a good option for videogames? (Single Player).

I don't think it can get any comfier.

they're at $189 at amazon now though.
The M-Audio HDH50 are quite portable and cost $154
The MDR-V6 is really cheap at $75 but might have isolation issues and have shallow pads. Avoid if big ears
M40x are comfortable for some people, but if you have big ears I'll avoid them because of their small pads. $99 for them.
These are basically most of the foldable closed headphones. F

oh and the takstar pro 82. they have a sale right now iirc and they have really nice sound. I would get them over the M40x for sure. chink shipping might be a concern if you want it early though

just curious, is open air headphones sound kinda like having Auto-Mute Disabled in alsamixer /listening to speakers and headphones

Will the explosions and bullets and axes thumping against wooden shields sound better on a flatter headphones or do I want all that bass?

You want balanced sound, and those are pretty balanced. Stuff crashing sounds best with tight midbass, which those will provide. That's where you get that "punch" from.

Do those wireless headset come with DAC/sound chip? or it uses the computer sound chip?
I have a laptop with faulty sound chip, using a USB DAC bypass the issue, is this the same foe wireless headphones?

thank you headphone jesus

is this a series? pretty hot.

I think bluetooth just goes through the bluetooth radio and not the sound card at all.

Thanks user! I'm going to look into all of these!

All wireless headphones came with its own DAC.

Hello guys, asked for headphones here before but didn't get a proper answer. I want to keep it simple so:
Budget: 100 USD or less
Must have: Microphone built in
Current headphones: Razer Kraken Pro
I just want better headphones for gaming. My Kraken is literally falling apart.
Thank you

I am so fucking sick of these goddamn things. I went through 5 of these over a course of a year. Please recommend me some better earphones that will last a whole lot longer that 2-3 months.

Now get.

Six hour creepypasta of a VN that gets distracted with a metafictional tangent.
It was also really boring.

Pioneer SE500 question -
Does anyone know of a earcup cushion set that could replace the cushions on the SE500?

Mine are kaput

Almost the only acceptable choice

Over 24h since pseudo-IEM experiment.
Left ear still feels weird, although the hearing is back to normal at least.
Fuck IEMs.

Where does "mid-fi" end and "hi-fi" begin? Is it the $1000 mark?

My HD555's pads finally gave out. Should I get replacement pads from Sennheiser's official store or are there recommended alternatives for them?

It's arbitrary. I personally use the $600 mark.
