I need a monitor that works well in a triple monitor setup or up to six, on a mount. Is the MSI Optix MAG24C mountable, and is it a good choice? My ideal monitor would be 1440p and 144hz, but I am willing to dip down to 1080p. Each monitor cannot be more than $250.

Here's Shadow of War, more recent than Shadow of Mordor
>More believable >more recent >A more expect result >Nope, clearly this graph is in line with the trends from the game's previous benchmarks. Do intelshills even read the shit they type?
With Ryzen 2 being out, I decided to see how my 1600 overclocks since I haven't needed or bothered to yet. I'm getting 3.825 ghz stable at the stock voltage. How'd I do in the silicon lottery? Temps hit the mid to low 70's on the stock cooler after 15 minutes of Prime95 with 24 degrees ambient.
Angel Gutierrez
Can you install a meltdown patch?
Connor Wright
Anand isnt an outlier because ive posted 5 different sources saying the same thing, try again fanboy
Easton Johnson
seems pretty good especially since past that doesn't seem to make a big enough difference to justify the voltage increase
Robert Scott
noob here with a 1600 as well. How do I go about overclocking it? Is it done through BIOS?
Jose Miller
>amd cant be better in gaymen is not true ITS NOT TRUE
Gamers Nexus is an Intel / Nvidia shill site, and I never use their benchmarks. Hardware Unboxed is an (accurate) AMD shill site, which is why I use HWUB benchmarks
Blake Gutierrez
Window forced pushed that patch 4 months ago. You have no choice but to run it
Hunter Mitchell
Based hwub isnt an amd shill
Adam Bell
How did I do? I already had the RX480 and I'm building an upgrade around it. Also, the fan isn't the exact model it didn't find it but close enough.
Hardware unboxed never shills amd and are intel shills, and toms parent company is in a "consumer outreach program" with intel
Matthew Collins
Does overclocking bclk keep the turbo boost? that seems like a really good idea for the 2700x if it does
Lincoln Lee
housefire build, it sucks

dont overclock ryzen 2 if you have one of the new mobos
Carter Campbell
It isn't, retard.
>ive posted 5 different sources saying the same thing No, you haven't. You're retarded enough to think that a few cherrypicked, unverified benchmarks are speaking to you directly in some magical language, "saying" Ryzen is better than Intel at gaming. It's just factually wrong. Right now Intel has the price/perf and absolute perf in gaming
Post multiple corroborating benchmarks of the same game. You can't
Luis Gutierrez
hey everyone. I have a 1600 and I'm looking into doing some OC, but I noticed that my temps seem a bit higher than what other people online seem to be saying. The average idle temp seems to average from around 30C, but mine generally idles around 40C. Do I have enough leeway to overclock or would my temps get too high?
Ryan Cooper
>Is it done through BIOS? Yes, that's the better way. You can also do it with Ryzen Master to test things out, but that won't be locked in when you reboot.
Adam Rivera
>Post multiple corroborating benchmarks of the same game. see Time for you to move the goalpost again shill
Blake Murphy
I don't have a new mobo or ryzen 2 I just thought it was a good idea I didn't think of
Gavin Collins
How much do you get paid to do this autistic shit
Andrew Allen
>mine generally idles around 40C. Mine usually hovers between 36-40C, you're fine. The load temps are the ones I'd be more concerned with.
Christopher Cruz
Idle doesnt matter at all and depends on ambient. Its always higher in the summer
Jace James
thanks anons. Will look into it with my load temps in mind.
>housefire build, it sucks Explain. Insufficient cooling? Poor GPU choice? The fact it's Mini ITX? You've been really helpful with your post user, thanks!
Joseph Sullivan
Literally everything you post stops mattering when the shit TIM cracks
>Anand techs admittedly flawed benchmarks Into the trash it goes. AMDfags are truly getting desperate
Landon Rogers
AMD gpus and Intel cpus are are shit and inefficient and the fact that its MITX doesn't help, Get an AMD cpu and Nvidia gpu
Parker Lopez
>admittedly flawed benchmarks Proof?
Luis Mitchell
Those aren't corroborating. One is about minimums and the other is about averages. Anyway those minimums are clearly cherrypicked because the vast majority of data from this review show the 8700K in the lead golem.de/news/ryzen-7-2700x-im-test-amds-zen-zieht-gleich-mit-intel-1804-133262-4.html You can click the arrows next to the benchmarks to flip through
Notice how the pic related benchmark disagrees with the anandtech bench here and agrees with the tom's hardware bench here
You put a lot of money into your cpu and mobo only to get 2400 mhz ram. Kick it up to 3000 mhz at least. Also 120gb ssd 240gb ssd just grab a 500gb for $140 and call it a day.
Oliver Campbell
Wouldnt you just delid it at that point 5 years down the road? It would already be out of warrently and you would have little to lose and much to gain
Nolan Murphy
Intel truly is inspiring, AMD should be more like them
How about a thread that wasn't started before bump limit because OP has an autistic obsession with shilling inferior cpus, honestly hes just trolling people into buying worse shit like how people here used to get newfags to buy FX back in the day
Nolan Russell
Is there any reason to avoid buying the cheaper x470 boards for a 2700x? Specifically the Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING or the MSI X470 GAMING PLUS. These boards are almost 200CAD and pretty much all that's available in the $200 range.
Bentley Ortiz

Didnt anandtrch show ryzen 1 beating coffelake in gtav? Because ryzen 1 ran like dogshit in every gtav bench i had seen in the past

No the aorus gaming is good.

about the same on all else, the Crosshair has more fan connectors I believe. Kinda hard to figure it out when they name every single header with a glorious and unique markeatable name. On both sides.
Anand used the latest meltdown patch, thats just what intel with the patches look like, if you want the performance that the resident intel shill is talking about then don't patch serious hardware bugs
They're good but I think you should wait for whatever Intel makes in response. Even then maybe AMD will be able to one up Intel by the time you're ready to purchase.
Aiden Wright
How much do you get paid to shit up Jow Forums faggot?
Xavier Lopez
>whatever Intel makes in response No new intel cpus this year other than cascade lake in august
John Gonzalez
I get paid in your tears, also I'm deciding which CPU I should upgrade to; i3 8100, i5 8400, or R5 2600
Sebastian Gray
got this while looking for mine. looks like gigabyte skimped a lot on this iteration for the gaming 5 and ultra. While upgrading the gaming 7.
I figured that they wouldn't be doing anything this year, but he did stretch to 2019 so I'm thinking about what Intel could do then compared to what AMD could do then. But I'm an Intel fan anyway until amd beats them in single core performance.
Landon Sullivan
Hey, Jow Forums. Looking to build my first PC from complete scratch. I don't have a lot of money to burn (

>8700k and 8600k overclocked to 5.2GHz get about ~11.5% more performance than the 2700X/2600X for a ~23% increase in clockspeed (and most likely higher voltages and thus heat) >These gains diminish even more severely when you consider 1440p or 4k resolutions that are becoming ever more popular/standard
So AMD seems more efficient for performance-to-clockspeed, so Intel only has the fact devs optimize for their CPU's keeping them on top?
How long until AMD decides to make these kinds of advancements in their GPUs?
The original source of this is from a fucking fourm post you dumb nigger
Joseph Wilson
>8700k and 8600k overclocked to 5.2GHz >5.2GHz Unachievable gold sample overclock, any reviewer benching with shit like that should be discredited as a shill.
