VALVE INSIDER HERE

Steam for some time has been working with intelligence agencies to make psychological profiles of users

all of those GTA mass shootings, the amount of free game time you spend randomly killing people and running them over, we are keeping track of it and when legislation permits it, which will be soon, some people might be ordered by a judge to go to mental health treatment facilities and your gameplay + the profile would be used as part of the evidence

just to let know, watch yourself, just because its a videogame doesnt mean it cant have consecuences

i do not use that service

my uncle works for nintendo and he just told me you're wrong

>consecuences
Gayben is that you?

ive heard all other launch platforms have similar AI based surveillance systems

i do not use those services

did /v/ call you out so now you are posting here?

I heard that Jow Forums also has an AI based surveillance program.

you can still be watched, this, email, and the CIA existed before the digital era

research analog methods of electronic surveillance, and be afraid

hearsay is hearsay
how did this go from "works with" to "heard about" anyway?

didnt tell them, /v/ is pure fags anyway, the only watchlist they are on, is the antifa communist extremist watchlist

My friend knows a guy who knows a thing about Jow Forums. It's just how news travels.

sounds legit
just bout 100k
thanks op

Not supprised. Don't really care much. The alphabet agency can scan all they want, the only crime they find on me is i have more than 2k hours each on every bethesda games, unmodded. GTA stopped being fun since the nigger gta.

Bullshit and good luck with foreigners

Got any proof to back up your claims?

i have no idea what steam is or does sorry

this is by far the dumbest post ever. if it's on the OS level they don't know how to track things like the amount of free time you spend running over people. If it's on the game level, developers have to intentionally have that data tracking in the game. As a game developer we can barely get our shit to run let alone provide a means for the FBI to knock on some poor virgin's door

Nice LARP, faggot.

OP is a faggot.

>"The spy is my favorite class"

your both wrong my dad is microsoft and he said video games are good

This pasta tastes funny

that post number :O

I wish we all lived in one big USA.

big if true

>be me
>play shitty videogames for fun
>game client makes up bs psychology based on my hours in Steins;Gate and Danganronpa
>literally could not give less of a shit.

Nice LARP faggot

>still using steam instead of gog

seems like the feds themselves need the mental evaluation.

You're wrong OP.
They aren't trying to send people to "mental health treatment facilities"
They are looking for people who are the most vulnerable and susceptible to roleplay, thus being good candidates for hypnosis and drugging so they can be groomed to be the next mass shooter in a false flag attack.

Do you know how to boil water?

Gibs me dat karambit marble fade

>Automated analysis based on arbitrary parameters is evidence
>Clicking a mouse button means you're mentally unstable
>Playing a game as it was intended means you're a psycho
>No equivalent profiling for people watching action movies or kids making action figures "fight"
Uh-huh

This is Jow Forums, not /v/, faggot.
Now fuck off to

profiling people based on time spent

i have 12466 hours in counter strike source i bet im number 1 on the potential terrorist wannabe list

Not OP but isn't video games technology? Hell, we even had threads of ecigs here. Besides, do you think /v/ cares about those kind of things?

as meant for

pretty sure i doubt anyone can profile someone solely based on time spent

unless they spoof our convos and mic rage on games and our pm's then yes but based on time alone its really stupid

*was
fixed
What the fuck, did my keyboard just got aids or something?

Good luck, I already own both guns and GTA.
You can come for them, but just so you know, I plan on going on a fishing trip {insert date three days before you are scheduled to arrive}, and you know how those pesky waters can be for boat tipping.

>buying games
>buying games from steam
Miss me with that shit

holy fuck, so they know that i wanna put a steel helmet with horns and fight Dragons by shouting on them ?
well time to kms

>be me
>play gta v
>fbi is monitoring
>obeying all traffic laws
>accidentally rear end car in front of me (why is driving so bad in gta)
>hear police helicopter overhead
>cops break down my front door
>shot.pdf
>SWAT breaks in through windows
>SEAL team six busts through the floor
>get tazed by 8 different guys
>As I fade out from pain, vision grows monochromatic
>last thing I see is "BUSTED" In big red letters

on which games do they do that kind of analysis? i assume any valve title, since they have apis that enable analyzing game behavior like dotabuff or opendota. i'd assume that for every other game they'd need to have a separate api or "they" (government agencies) force bigger studios to implement a standard api for all their games, which then would be needed to be handed down to valve or similar. that's a shit load of data

San Andres was the best GTA

this. you°re 300% on point

I play GTA offline on my PlayStation 2.

Half Life 3 when

Holy shit we're finally back

i pirate everything :)

>valve
>working on anything ever

> year is 2023
> The worst of the violent video games have been banned and any players of them have been arrested
> Load up Rocket League
> Knock on the door
> Open the door it's the Game Safety Authority
>"Sir we're gonna need you to come with us"
> Two weeks later, being prosecuted in court
>"user has a high risk profile, we recommend he be put in a high security mental institution until we can be assured of the people's safety"
> Bring out the evidence : 300-700 hours logged in each of the following games ; Overwatch, Rocket League, Dota 2 and civilization
>My mom bursts into tears
