It boots and runs fine, but what the fuck do I do with it? Is it worth anything (due to the Apple badge) or is it recycling tier hardware?

If its the model with Intel GMA x3100 you're good to go, you have Open GL 2.0 (gold). Ram is cheap.. oh wait, those 2 gigs are integrated and not upgradable :^]

It’s pretty useless with the stock drive (first gen Airs literally use the same hard drive as the iPod classic). There are 1.5” ssd’s though, so upgrade that and throw some cheap ram in it to bring it up to at least 4gb. Don’t spend more than $100, then sell it on faceberg/craigslist for like $300 and dicker if you have to down to $200 at the lowest. It’s not worth anywhere near $300 but the Apple badge tends to blind people.
