Is Google Chrome the best Android browser for a person that doesn't care about privacy?
Is Google Chrome the best Android browser for a person that doesn't care about privacy?
no
Then what do you recommend?
Firefox for Android
Everything is better than Chrome. Its UI is absolutely unusable.
Lightning is as fast as chrome but 99% lighter.
ur not me dipshit
but yeah whatever, i dont even own a phone
I guess. Takes up a lot of storage though.
Why wouldn't you care about privacy?
facebook user
They will end up with Chrome as their default browser no matter what anyway.
Standard or Nightly?
Is free Lightning as good as the Pro version? I don't mean to spend money on a web browser.
I value performance and comfort better than conspiracy speculations.
Elaborate.
this
gives you the ability to run uBlock without the need to root
This, but the uncucked version: Fennec Fdroid.
>speculations
>Standard or Nightly?
nightly is half decent if you set apz.android.chrome_fling_physics.enabled to true in about:config
>Is free Lightning as good as the Pro version?
lightning is the fastest browser on android probably, but it hasn't been updated in months. anyway the pro version is on fdroid
Thank you for the reply. I'd rather not mess with config files, I'm looking for a light and fast browser that works well out of the box.
I've been checking some browsers and both Via Browser and Yuzu have got my interest. Have you tried them?
Samsung's browser is unironically the best android browser.
Yes, firefox and opera are slower and the more lightweight browsers lack features
OP here. Thank you all for replying. I decided to try Via at the end. It's fast, it has an integrated Ad Block and its UI is light and simple. I think I'm sold for it at the moment.
You can close the thread now.
SAUCE
get your poorly drawn tits off of my friend
nvm found it

> conspiracy speculations
Is it summer again already? Seriously, go back to whatever sand dune you like planting your head in.
share??
saucenao
fuck yourself OP and keep getting cucked
I unironically agree
Have you ever tried Via?
Look in the garbage.
I fucking hate male virgin weebs
>Jow Forums shills wms and shortcuts all the time
>"b-but shit UI tho"
Yes.
doesnt even have ublock
Chrome lacks good ad blocking which is necessary for a usable web browser
Brave is a better chrome
Chromium is a better chrome
It also doesn't block ads very well
Firefox for Android + adblocking extension.
Are you braindead? What does a WM have to do with a browser's UI?
The implication is if you use a wm and complain about "unusable UI" in basic-as-fuck-UI Chrome, you're a hypocrite.
Me on bottom.
No it's not. You still use GUI applications if you only use a WM so you can still say a UI is bad or not. Just because a person would rather use keyboard to move around windows doesn't mean their eyes stop working. Go back to /v/ or lurk more before posting.
>integrated ad """block"""
Yo dumbass fucking ass. That's just asking ad syndicates to slip them a fifty to let their shit in. Ublock origin or bust.
>conspiracy speculations
>what is prism
>im 13 btw haHAA
naked browser is the only answer
what is this cartoon and can i get it on netflix thanks, bru
>google moves the address bar to bottom some months ago
>what the heck
>it's actually pretty comfy
>can switch tabs one handed on a 5.5 inch screen
>back to the present
>the bar gets moved back to top
What the fuck.
Yes.
>10 tab limit
lol
You was probably using Canary or some shit like that, but the experiment is still on chome://flags if you want it back.
I'm using the standard version though. I'll check the flags.
>cartoon
cartoon he says
Seconding, thirding and fourthing.
>conspiracy speculations
I'm rooted with adaway installed anyway so that isn't really a concern for me
i felt it
in my dick
The manga is Allargando by Seto Yuuki.
firefox focus bitcheeess
Either way, I recebtly started using FF Focus. And it's fucking great.
If it matters to anyone, downloading Firefox Klar from f-droid gives you the same browser (same logo etc) but with telemetry turned off by default, and no Google Services. It's an official app by mozilla and gets updates frequently (week ago for this release).
