Big Enter

>Big Enter
>Big Shift
>Big Backspace
Behold, the superior keyboard layout. Why are there few keyboards like this?

Because people don't want to put up with a plank on their desk's

F keyboards are too small and too close.
I use pic related. It's the only keyboard with this classic layout I managed to get here.

What do you mean? It's a normal keyboard.

>F keyboards
* F keys

What? That is the standard keyboard to me. Are you saying there are different keyboard layouts than that?

Still has "num lock," the worst legacy key of all.

Yes.
Notebook keyboards do all kind of fuckery when it comes to the layout.

And modern faggot small keyboards (those colored ones that basedboys use post here all the time) have weird layouts too. Some of them are custom though.

I've always been partial to the old Dell SK-8135 keyboards.

They're a good solid general purpose desktop keyboard.

Also I wish you could buy a normal keyboard with this layout in white color.

I finally disabled CapsLock
good decision

K-120 master race

Does anyone ever use right shift, right windows, that weird menu key and right ctrl?

It has the weird escape position.
It should be a crime to modify the classic standard layout.

Is an old ps2 Key Tronic keyboard worth using. I found one brand new at a goodwill a few days ago and cant find anything about it online. I apologize in advance for the shit quality photo.

It's called the ISO layout. Most european countries use it, the problem is that the USA is retarded like always, and uses the ANSI layout.

Just like the imperial vs metric system.

AFAIK old KeyTronics used to be good.

You can literally buy that exact keyboard in white.

lel, which yurocuck country has put a flag on the moon again?

>still trying to ride with the flag on the moon thing
>meaning there hasn't been anything worth mentioning in several decades
>that flag is pure white which is the international symbol of giving up

That enter key ain't big. It's just vertical.
THIS is a big enter key.

End your life, yuropoor

Go to *any nordic country* and you'll find what you're looking for.

right shift for typing capitals with 1 hand

Practically all keyboards in Europe have big enter and backspace keys. They have small shift keys due to an extra key next to shift, though, but I can live with that. Lately, there seem to be more and more laptops with horizontal enter keys around here, boy do those look retarded.

uggh look at that little weiner backspace key

Because China hates Europe and won't make keyboards for us. Its hard to find a good mechanical iso keyboard that isn't from a major shitty brand like corsair.

This is the classic enter, but it's too big and usually gets stuck on cheaper keyboards due to its size (if you press it in the corner). OP's Enter is just perfect.

Why do you cling to this legacy shit?
Is it so hard for you to use proper keys? Do you need giant buttons to be able to differentiate them from the rest?

Are you that retarded?

Not exactly. The picture in the OP is a mixture of both. ISO has a small Shift-Key, but one more key then ANSI.

you'd be surprise

Tall enter key is the worst. I always end up missing it when typing on those keyboards.

>this is what pbtfags tell themselves because sharp double-shot legends are too hard for them

>literally the biggest key on the keyboard
>always ends up missing it
Maybe you should seek out a neurologist.

I'm european and I like the ISO enter key exactly because it's so easy to hit it. It covers so much of the edge. I would imagine the ANSI enter key requires more precision. Especially if you're installing something and you have to occasionally hit enter, you aren't keeping your hands on typing position. You just reach for the keyboard to hit enter and that's when the larger enter key shines.

>right shift
A lot, e.g. for _
>right meta
My keyboard doesn't have one, but I'd probably use it for the screen lock combination (Meta+L)
>context menu key
When I'm navigating a GUI with the keyboard, this one is super useful
>right ctrl
Other than things like escaping a Hypervisor's input grab, no

ISO layout is the same size keyboard as your baby boy return key layout what even is your point?

Look around ffs.

>pbtfags
I have ABS.

>ISO layout has small shift on the left
> | and \ separated from the rest of the symbol keys
>Use left shift most frequently

Why is there no layout with small shift on the right?

Been using this wireless keyboard since 2010.
Perfect layout and the thin keys are great to type on.

tall enter key sucks. I like the big fat backwards L enter key.
That upside down one is shit and you are an idiot to prefer it
I need this key and big left shift.
>some keyboard companies suck and fuck it up that's why I prefer the inferior version
