The only tracker that I find tedious to get upload on is BIB

BIB is designed to either waste your time on earth doing the 100 upload tango or else fail. It's nearly the stupidest tracker I ever made the mistake of getting into.

newfriend here, wath's the default way of automatically downloading newly uploaded files in a tracker [to hoard seed ratio]? do I have to write my own crawler to do it or are there publically available ones? if there are publically available ones, are there specific ones for each trackers?

This question is structured horribly, but based on what you want your best bet is autodl-irssi
Be warned: if you do this without reading forum posts or documentation you will likely fuck your ratio completely.
Another thing, unless you've got really good upload, you won't get much out of auto downloads since there will be plenty of seedboxes you're competing with.

I don't think this is what I'm after. Creating my own crawler which scouts for and downloads new uploads based on a set of predefined criterias, in my trackers, seems like a safer bet.
I can only get 100/100, but I think that will still net me a positive ratio if I choose torrents by the right criterias.

I really don't see the value/point in putting together a crawler for this when most sites are already put together with auto downloading in mind.

If you want better advice, be more specific about some examples of criteria you would use (i.e. how broad or specific). For instance, if you're using a music tracker a broad criterion would be FLAC, and a specific set of criteria would be 2018 WEB FLAC from a certain record label.
This will help determine what sort of tool best suits your needs. Auto downloading in general can be RSS, autodl-irssi, or even tools like GazelleUI or Headphones.

You can find most content PTs have in public places, that doesn't make using them a waste of time. It's about having everything at one place, quality and having access to some rare shit that only top or very niche trackers have. Ratio game is a big part of torrenting, especially on PTs. I find it more convenient to build up good buffer on top trackers that has all the content I want and use it for years, and BIB is one of those trackers.

Nowhere else has anywhere near the amount of retail fiction that BIB has. Libgen, MAM and mobilism are full of bad calibre conversions.
Building buffer is so easy at BIB that there shouldn't even need to be a discussion on going elsewhere. The initial GiB you are given + upload a couple of art/cookery/architecture books + upload 100 normal sized books and you'll be PU with more buffer than you'll ever need.

There's scripts on the forums that will help you.

You can literally copy and paste the metadata from overdrive.
You don't really have to do any work, just find books that aren't there.
What I use is the overdrive userscript that creates the links to BIB, I open a bunch of overdrive links and search their names on bib.
It's super easy.
I got my 100 uploads in only a few days barely trying.
