Because then they don't have to live in the US.

Because they live there

Affordable healthcare and not constantly getting shot makes up for the lower salary desu

to be able to afford a 20 square meters apartment and drive a beetle while bragging about their "free" healthcare

Why would I willingly move to a shithole like the US?

Attached: IMG_20180429_191602.jpg (651x514, 76K)

>tfw 69K

Even "expensive" Europe is nowhere as expensive as living in the Valley, where all those high-paying dev jobs are.

because it is better than getting shot at and being raped by niggers, politicians, and rednecks all at the same time while being hated by everyone in the world.

>You would need around 6,181.50$ (4,495.09£) in London to maintain the same standard of life that you can have with 5,900.00$ in San Jose, CA (assuming you rent in both cities).

numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=United States&country2=United Kingdom&city1=San Jose, CA&city2=London

Idk, I hate to living in europe, its shit

because you can't easily move to US

and you can do that for 1k in eastern europe and live better

Might as well use Monaco as an example.

You don't need to live there for a decent tech job.

What are salaries like in Eastern Europe? They aren't even on the chart!

>France
>39k
That's insane

Instead, you are getting shot at and being raped by shitskins, mudslimes, politicians and ANTIFA, all at the same time while being hated by everyone who isn't white.

And you don't need to live in San Jose to make bank in America either, retard.

Better than being stabbed, blown up, or run over by muslims and ANTIFA

Where can you make 90K outside the Valley?

Look at the chart, UK isn't even leading in the wages.

I get $54k before tax in Poland with 5 years of experience and I refused few offers in London and Germany because I'd be saving less.

glassdoor.com/Salaries/austin-software-engineer-salary-SRCH_IL.0,6_IM60_KO7,24.htm

Keep speaking in memes :^), but that won't change the fact that Europe is leagues ahead of USA when it comes to health care and safety.

>Why do people exist in Europe?
fpbp

Seattle, Austin, Colorado, New York, Washington, Atlanta, ...

I'm renting a 60m2 apartment in a small city for 360 euros per month, does that asnwer your question?

Higher pay.
Guns
Higher living standards (Coastal cities)

>Higher living standards
Yeah I'll stay in Denmark thanks

If you have like 10 years experience you'll be making a minimum of 100k anywhere in the US. Before that though and you'll probably be making anywhere from 70k to 90k. CA and major cities are the only exceptions where someone new can be making 150k

How long does that go on?
Where's Ireland?
And India for that matter

+1
Can't complain either

56% Brian, always think of your 56% before saying anything against the Motherland

Attached: DYSu9KOXkAYaU7_.jpg (1200x675, 109K)

You have to be a good enough dev for an employer to sponsor your move to the US. There's no other reason. Don't believe the coping ITT.

Isn't Finland one of the most suicidal places?

Unless you're pajeet

>Higher living standards

Maybe but you work way too much for it.

I had a 106k offer in New Hampshire as a new grad.

Still much safer than burgerland. In Europe Russia have the worst crime rates.

How much does an American programmer usually work anyway?

It's around 30-40 hours a week here with 30 vacation days.

Yeah, Norwegian here, I think I will stay right where I am.

Well shit, it isn't as bad as I thought it would be...

Oh wait
>Highest rates of statist extortion, thus would have to pull 45 where I would pull 30 in another country
>no funs allowed, can't keep great-grandfather's heirloom from ww1/2

Scratch that, I'll just go to the US with them if I could. Belgium is quite the shithole, even by European standards

One thing to keep in mind, while there's no doubt standard is much higher in US than eastbloc hamburgers always quote their salaries before taxes while in yurop it's after taxes.

I don't even know what my salary is before taxes.

>>no funs allowed, can't keep great-grandfather's heirloom from ww1/2
Actually you can with some modification, but go on to the land of the free for all.

Do you have the median wage? The average can have been skewed by for example very high wages for the top earneers.

Even if I ever manage to get h1b visa, to get a green card you need to wagecuck for the same company bunch of years and if the employment ever becomes terminated, there is a high chance you have to begin collecting years from zero again. For this reason the best way to get permanent residence is to get married with US citizen. Too bad there are barely any women in these tech centers.
Too much uncertainty, too much pain in the ass.

>can't keep great-grandfather's heirloom from ww1/2

That's simply not true, you can have anything including AR-15 as long as it's auto-crippled but it's not like lots of people have full auto in US, don't really know what's the reason, probably those into gun hobby are of lower income or something since full auto is so expensive?

>be programmer in America
>say I don't believe in the wage gap to a co-worker
>get shot by feminists

>I don't even know what my salary is before taxes.
your beloved socialist politicians who live off your work don't want you to know

how much after tax?

Poor. Some people that I met when in Belgrade got by in life by doing Pajeet-tier freelancing. The living costs are extremely low though so it doesn't require a lot to live well over there.

Does gay marriage count?

Social politicians just want more even distribution of wealth in the contrast to "capitalist" politicians which are here to maximize wealth for few.

Don't know what kind of psyop US govt is using on poor majority of US population to be anti-themselves but it's working great.

>Politicians just want to be in power, and say however many empty promises it takes in order to get into power, and won't let any amount of public debt that the next generation of people will have to pay off stop them.
FTFY.

I mean, I can't capitalize on it as much as if I were on the other side of the Atlantic
Really, it'll be like arriving with 50k$ already in my pocket if I can make them transferable

The state racket is one hell of a strain tho, and the bigger point imho

You might be onto something, faggot

>Not marrying a redneck gf to shoot guns with
A shame they don't both live in the same place...

>communists actually believe this

politicians want higher taxes because that's where their living comes from, that's why they live in luxury and stay in 4-5 star hotels to attend to useless conferences across the continent while you slave away and wait in multiple month-long waiting lines for healthcare.

One more thing, if you get caught with full auto where I live (ex-yu), nothing really bad will happen. 12 months probation and some shitty $800 fine.

I've heard horrible stories about illegal full auto in US tho, like mandatory federal prison and $100k fine or so?

Fuck that was meant for

>tfw commie shithole called belgium
there are loopholes to be able to keep full autism tho it's PITA to get if you don't have 20 guns already registered and didn't build your house around a huge ass safe, and getting caught with it means you're directly linked to terrorism

But that's a minor concern when they take 70% of your income. That's where I have a problem, I want my bucks to be mine and mine alone so that I can afford to not downsize everything I buy

American member of Congress make 200K.
That's a lot more than they do in my "socialist" country.

>spain not on the list because average entry pay is 16k year

might aswell kill myself

>month-long waiting lines for healthcare.

One more of those bullshit stories rich are feeding poor in US with.

There's lots of that wrong with euro healthcare system and you can wait for months for some diagnostics/treatments but I lost father few years ago due to brain cancer and everything moved super fast. It took less than a week from diagnosis to brain surgery and every last little thing was paid for by the state, even the rides to the hospital. It was obvious from a first day it's the battle that will be lost yet no one gave up on him.

I just can't imagine going through all that in US and not being rich. I've even heard Jon Biden was about to sell his house to pay for his sons brain cancer treatment expenses?

>It's an episode where OP doesn't understand purchasing power and what constitutes the wage in other countries
Those number can't be true anyway. According to the pic, I'm earning exactly the "average" straight out of uni as a junior sysadmin which is literally the recommended starting wage by our union. I seriously can not imagine someone in the IT field settling for less unless it's an internship.

$37k or so.
I pay ~$450 for rent and spend similar amount on the rest of the shit I need monthly so I usually save around 2k per month.

What city

>Don't know what kind of psyop US govt is using
They all believe they are potential millionaires even if they live on the streets. It's the 'murican dream which is literally taught in schools. Add the hysterical fear of all things even remotely related to communism / socialism to the soup which is literally due to the remnants of cold war propaganda and you've got a generic 'murican.

t. (((christian))) amerimutt

Helsinki

because switzerland has the same (if not better) salaries + infinitely better social services than the USA

US is one big lottery system. Everyone can win but for each winner there must be thousands of suckers.

>and you can wait for months for some diagnostics/treatments
lol you even admit it, case closed.

I'll take my chances with euro system over thoughts & prayers or just glocking myself.

We don't have 100k debt after college.

The common joke is that we're the happiest because all the depressed neets kill themselves. It's a cultural thing though. It's too easy to be depressed neet or hikky. It's common for men to kill themselves when their business is failing. This happened a lot during the 90s when USSR collapsed on itself, eastern export ceased and the economy fell into depression. Women commonly kill their kids and then themselves if they feel they are suffering in the marriage.

Quite a few drown during national summer holidays too. It's become a nation wide meme.
youtube.com/watch?v=f4DC0kpIhV8

>didn't go to college
>make 150k as software dev

College is a fucking meme.

The employers are aware of that too, so you're expected to bend over.

You're still on Jow Forums retard so diploma is obviously not only about money.

>having to pay taxes higher than the costs of a good insurance plan is worth it

Attached: 1473904892658.jpg (1106x1012, 362K)

proud slavjeet here, we had to take over another project from our incompetent goblino counterparts again.

Everyone loves us, because we don't have the pajeet accent and are white, also way more technically skilled than memerikans. Slav is the future

Somehow I think this pic doesn't include indian devs in the US which were hired for cost cutting, right?

The average income in Austria for example is 32k.
With 50k you are in the upper 30%. With 60k which I get with 25 and a SE BSc I am literally in the top 10%.

Check your privilege Amerilard.

They are quite bad, I get 9k as a plsql dev with 1 year of experience. I can't even afford to move out of my parent's place and live alone.

Attached: 1509253203819.jpg (249x250, 7K)

I don't have friends there and Jow Forums gives me the impression that the amerimutt meme is real as only retarded people can come up questions like this. The braindrain is over.

Ever heard of QoS and traffic shaping? It's done in health care too. If you have something that can wait, get ready to wait. I've broken bones couple times and everything was finished within couple hours. Paid maybe 50€ for painkillers and the tool to support my hand.
There's always specialized private clinics if you want your shit sorted out right now.

because you're too moronic to realize health insurance exists

Because $43k is insanely good salary for many European countries. A doctor's entry salary here is $1200.

I'm sure there are people who hate to live in US too. :^)

I want to move to burgerland but they probably won't recognize my university in addition to it being hard to get a visa.

Your insurance company doesn't give a shit about you. They're against you and will fuck you over if possible. Our evil government wants to keep its taxpayers in the work force and will pay the bill no matter what.

The vino-bubble has to at least expand to Greece including Austria, Hungary and Rumania. The Vodka-bubble is far to big. Where is Schnaps?

>diploma excludes you from being on Jow Forums

I'm sitting at work right now. Making 75$/hr trolling Jow Forums. What more could you want out of a job.

I get 19200 EUR per annum (after tax) as a code monkey in Eastern Europe.

I live in a 2 bed, 2000 sq ft town home in a rich neighborhood, splitting rent for a about 1300, and I still have around 1700 in spare cash to spend or save after my expenses including 500 for a student loan. That's with 2 years of experience. And virtually no customs tax so I can important all the weebshit I want and it's the US so electronics are dirt cheap compared to many parts of Europe

You should consider the US

The truth.

This. Austria is Vino×Birra×Vodka country

>You should consider the US
The "you have to go back" country? Ellis Island is closed as US borders too.

Having a job where you have nothing to do (or rather you can't do anything) is quite the torture, speaking from experience. It rots your brain.

>be brainlet Yank
>pay insane prices on rent, transport, internet etc
>B-BUT I MAKE TWICE AS MUCH

Yeah and you pay 3-4x as much as everyone else in first world countries you fucking dumb apes

Zurich, Switzerland is. It just happens that if you are skilled and have the choice, you might prefer to live in Switzerland rather than the USA.

Switzerland is a lot more easy-going with legal immigrants. Didn't have "TSA needs to grope you", didn't have 1-week-after-fired-you-need-to-be-out clauses for H-1B equivalents, the process to actually relocate is less annoying [though still bureaucratic] and so on.
