When I did this mod 3 years ago I used some tweezers but I wouldn't really recommend that, it's probably how I scratched the minute hand. I used the ends of various ballpoint pen inserts when I set the hands on my Vostok, it sounds retarded but it was surprisingly effective.

Hack/Handwinding Seiko movement in a case with really decent quality and WR, especially for $50. Bracelet is alright but I replaced it with a Miltat SuperOyster which was insanely better. Sold it though.

They make/made watch movements for the holy trinity. They are a very high quality watch brand while being well priced in comparison to bigger brands. My grail has a JLC movement.
