Unironically this. Especially if OP bought it from China.

nah its legit, i made sure to check that

And how did you do that exactly? If you bought it from a real store just take it back.

i got it offline, from best buy so i had them review it cant return cause its best buy and they dont except drives once they have been opened (bs)

If they sold you a defective or mislabeled drive you can absolutely return it.

hey Bill Gates here, you don't need more than 100gb. stop hoarding porn and anime

>they dont except drives once they have been opened (bs)
What do you mean opened. I hope you didn't remove the drive from the enclosure(which would void the warranty).

If you mean opened the box, then that's retarded and I'd take that shit right back to them.

Could it be an inode issue? Odd for it to show only 100GB, are you sure you didn't fuck up when buying and think it was more?

best buy doesnt sell 100gb harddrives.
in fact i think nobody has sold 100gb hdds since 2004.

Yeah 100 seems odd, it'd either be 80 or 160. I don't say 100GB HDDs didn't exist, it's just kind of a rare thing.

>best buy
You deserve it.

Protip: SSDs are still HDDs.

buddy, thats a 100gb harddrive.
You got fucked.

>it came from bestbuy
how did I see that coming

Pro tip; no solid state drives are not hard disk drives

Dumbest post of the day already has a strong contender

Indeed he did.
