An ebook reader or tablet filled with misc tech textbooks and articles

You could archive this thread along and a few others that you think showcase life in 2018 along with your favorite current memes, the source code for the linux kernel/your favorite distro and put em on the T60's hard drive, you could also mirror your current android or iOS device on a cheaper phone that would be neat
also these

lots and lots of adapters. USB to ps/2, serial to ps/2, and all the drives to any medium you want to include, like a CD drive if you want to put in cds. also look up "long term storage CD", certain materials are less prone to degradation than others. same for printouts, get whatever you want to last get developed on photo paper (not printed!), then it will last 100+ yrs if kept dark and dry.

interesting idea in general user, also look up the long now project. getting something etched in glass would be nice, but expensive.

flash drive with all your images you've saved from Jow Forums from the past years till present.
Imagine that. having 50+ year old electronic images...

>Muskcuck
Delete the last line and stop idolizing a scam artist.

Time capsules are stupid in an age where everything is archived and the internet exists.

These

You could also download an archive of your favourite boards, text-only, and add your collection of saved images to complement it. It should only be a couple dozen GB, easily fitting on a cheap flash drive. Odds are in 50 years those kinds of archives will not only not exist anymore, but their data could end up lost and scattered.

I wonder how a cheap smartphone would hold up for 50 years in a dry, dark, static environment
