https everywhere or smart https?

Attached: 1522844425314.png (741x568, 29K)

I like smart https because it doesnt rely on a list. Say you visit a site that isnt on that list, you're connection wouldnt be forced to use https.
On smart https you can lengthen or shorten the timeout for when it decides to fall back to http. And it can use whitelists and blacklists.

i only use vimfx for mouseless browsing. i haven't even looked at any others.

Why does Jow Forums use so many extensions for security and privacy?

Eventually one of these extensions will be sold to a company in China or seized by the NSA who will add malware to it and you’ll happily auto-update.

Also whenever an extension gets compromised, how do you hear about it? From a tech/news website, in your browser, that the extension controls. You could be running a compromised extension right now and you wouldn’t know anything about it.

Use web browsers with no history, no automatic updates, no extensions and contaneirized if you cara about security and privacy. By using these stupid privacy extensions you’re just making your browsing experience shittier and getting little to no benefit from them.

>what is mozilla public license
>what is manual updating
true though, ublock/umatrix, temporary containers, local cdn addon, redirect to https and some script/css injectors are all you need

>using a "free" proxy
Why even have privacy addons?

>Twitch
>AdblockPlus
>NarutoThemeV3
Here's your (You)

which addon are you talking about?
if foxyproxy, i use it for tor to browse blocked sites that aren't really illegal, just so i have my preferred setup and keep the tor browser clean from my addons and customizations
is tor as bad as other free proxies?

which one?

I'm seeing a lot of userscripts plug-in. Which scripts are worth using?

4chanX
Stylechan
Linkify plus plus
Adsbypasser
adsbypasser.github.io/

I'll check them out, thanks user.

Is there anything like account containers or first party isolation for chromium / opera?

what hooktube addon is the best one? There are dozens of them and I can't choose.

I'm pretty sure they exclusive to firefox, for now at least

Attached: addons1525641570.png (1075x984, 160K)

Jow Forums x (loadletter)
Pixiv Translation Plus
exlinks
eze (broken for now)

I'm hoping they come in time. Opera gets about 50% more battery life than Firefox for me. However going cross browser between devices is forcing me to leave the botnet in other ways, like using KeePass XC instead of just browser syncing.

I like a little bit of redundancy, sue me.

How often do Javascript Control and Toggle Webiste Colors come useful for you?

>Use web browsers with no history, no automatic updates, no extensions and contaneirized
like what?

done, thank you

I wrote an addon a while ago that lets you right click anchor tags and generate an archive.is link, but it's incompatible with Quantum and I haven't updated it yet. Is there a use for something like this? Should I update it?

Java app with a JavaFX browser

update it.

I'd like to use this addon.

It's pretty neat, nothing special though. I'll update it after work and put the source on Shithub, upload it to the Addon store or whatever it's called, and post a link in whatever relevant thread is in the catalog.

You can customise the limit. I use 10

What's the point of something like tree tabs when the tabs don't actually disappear from the top to free some vertical space, but are simply shown twice on the screen?

Youtube video blocker

You don't need Disconnect since uBO has it's filters ya fuck

Is there practical difference between turning off javascript in about:config
and forbidding it's execution with client Content Security Policy?

You can remove them from the top in the userchrome.css
