Looking to replace the battery for my S4, the one in it currently (the original) says Cell made in Korea, assembled in Vietnam. The one I'm looking at ( mobile-mate.com.au/viewItem.ta?itemId=11684 ) just says made in China. That site is supposedly an authorised reseller for Samsung, and it's priced like what I would expect a real one to be. Does it seem OK, will the chinese one be inferior to the Korean?

1. you can't type on it.
2. you can't make good software for a phone
3. It will always be smaller.
4. A 10 year old laptop is much faster to use than a brand new smartphone for nearly every task you would do on a laptop. Mostly because nobody is making good software for phones.

I currently have an S7 but am considering an upgrade. I'd really like either S8 or S9 and really want to use the whole Dex interface for the majority of my desktop work as well.

I can get the s8 for free or the s9 for $200 through my work. Which should I go with? Are the camera / performance differences between the two so wide that it justifies a $200 difference?

There's still iPhone SE (possibly SE2 coming soon) and Sony's Compact phones for small phones. Regular iPhones (iPhone 6S, 7, 8 etc) are also pretty compact.
