I do both. It's much more comfy to post from my desktop at home hooked up to my 32" 1440p monitor. I can also take the Firefox window with 10+ tabs open and toss it on my 2nd screen while I do other things. However I don't work a tech job. Which means I don't get the chance to use a desktop at work. So I enjoy phone posting during lunch.

Humans will naturally adjust their standards relative to the effort involved, and following and replying to posts is more difficult on a phone. Instead of seeing the thread as a whole you have to scroll through them. You will avoid lengthy posts because they are more difficult to read through a phone screen keyhole, and you will avoid lengthy replies due to the effort of writing them. A phoneposter will naturally reduce to Jow Forumsposting -- scrolling through to find a simple post whose sentiment agrees with their most basic biases and posting a simplistic dick-sucking response, or finding a post that triggers them and yelling at it.

But Clover isnt atrocious and is quite easy to use.

This has proven to be an interesting question OP has raised. It reveals a complex and very irrational of hatred of phone posters by PC posters. Its fairly obvious the only responses from level headed persons have been from phone posters. Meanwhile PC posters have only been able screech autisticly. Just because the PC posted screeching has sometimes been wrapped in wordy blog posts doesn't make these responses somehow more meaningful, worth posting and worth reading. After going through the thread I hate to say it but I think prefer phone posters over PC posters as PC posters have proved themselves to be hated filled Jow Forumstard level retards.

I'm convinced mods are behind the hate for phone posting. First, mobile devices (if posting from an app) don't contribute to ads or datamining JavaScript. Second, phones can just turn off mobile data, then turn it on in a few seconds successfully avoiding IP bans or the post per minute quota.

OP here. Really interesting how this thread has progressed so far. Tonight instead of my phone I am posting from a octacore PC with 64gb of ram, 2 x 1 TB SSD hard drives, 4 x 4 TB 7200 rpm standard hard drives, 2 x GTX 1080 video cards, a sound card hooked to a 1000 watt home theater system, 1500 watt power supply and 4 x 4k monitors. While it is pretty comfy I can't help but think its not all that great for the environment. My phone is much more energy efficient. Considering my local power plant burns coal I can't help but think its kinda shitty to be creating this post with over 3000 watts of power instead of only milliwatts with my phone. I guess that is the price the human race has to pay to be hip on Jow Forums r-right guys?
