You're a shill?

Sorry to tell you, but you should know GPD is now using M3 CPUs. Your marketing team did a shitty job of trying to make up an advertisement.

Just posted the first set of specs I found from when I searched for "GPD Pocket" - not really concerned with the GPD Win

Fuck these clamshell form factors, someone needs to release a modern slider already

they're small hands

>built in infrared induction mouse
So it has a BlackBerry optical trackpad instead of a TrackPoint? That doesn't sound like too much fun on a desktop OS

>let's talk UMPC
>look at this one
>fuck everything else
So, a shill?

>cheap $200 or less
>keyboard isnt ass/too small
>1080p
rec me

non existent

if you want cheap, UMPCs aren't for you

rec you to get a job.

Reminder that the Gemini PDA is a thing

Dual-boots Android and Linux, so... neat? Also is a phone.

How else you gonna read your italian basket-baking manifestos?

Weeb-tier confirmed.

is it supposed to look like an iPad and 2011 macbook pro?

no, it's a miniture rip off of lenovos yoga line

I wish I had bought one of those new, the 64 bit ones are hard to find now.

By "yoga" you mean, "bend me over and fuck me up the ass with your huge corporate cock" right?

There are Core2 ones? Damn that'd be great, this Core Solo's abysmal; even worse than an Atom N270

Core 2 yes but still Core2Solo. There were some hardcore guys who jammed a C2D into them but no units ever came from the factory that way.

go away shill
not your marketing site

As said, there were core2 ones that were iirc only sold in Japan, and you could replace the C2Solo with a C2D with a reflow oven.

Why does it have quran in arabic on the screen?

>Atom 5x-78350 (4 Core 1.44GHz up to 1.92GHz)
the fuck is this?
Also stop shilling this shit device. It's massively inferior in comparison to gpd pocket.

>Also stop shilling this shit device. It's massively inferior in comparison to gpd pocket.
Shhhh. Let him earn his shill paycheck

I can't find anything regarding the manufacturer on the internet. Not even on Chinese sites. The YouTube video was uploaded by a new personal account. Possibly a scam?

Friend buy a Lumia RX130

Why don’t you?

This!! I want my new gutted vaio ux. I'm literally dreaming about this puppy.

You've already been BTFO
>mediatek
Puahaha

so this or gemeni? considering buying one.

geneni probably has better battery, and can replace my phone too

but this fucker runs windows

Gpd pocket is 1920x 1200.

Also:

“According to the Intel site for the x5-Z8350, the maximum memory for this chipset is 2GB. The product page lists 8GB. I'd be wary.

The GPD Pocket is just a tablet with a keyboard, unlike the Gemini which is a smartphone with a keyboard.

The Gemini has a risk of becoming outdated (kernel-wise) due to MediaTek. It is still more mobile and can call/text your friends if you have any. The GPD Pocket's battery life is fucking ass, but it is x86.

If you want a laptop replacement, get the GPD Pocket. If you want a smartphone replacement, get the Gemini PDA. Both run Linux anyway.

Just don't get the One Mix Yoga China thing.

I kind of understand the GPD pocket because its intended as a retro game emulator. The keyboard is there for keypress functions in games, no-one tries to pretend you can actually type on it. But this thing, is built on a false premise, you *cannot* do real work, coding or whatever the fuck else, on a 7" keyboard. Not unless you're some three-fingered Rwandan pygmy with hands the size of dining forks.

>muh light note-taking
>muh light coding
>muh SSH into blah blah

NO! just stop it, admit you fetishize technology, and go and jack off over some CPU diagrams. If you like small computers because they turn you on, well, it's a free world buddy but don't come and lie to us, and yourself, on a anonymous Taiwanese rape doodle bulletin board, about how your 7" mobile phone with bolt on keyboard is in any way "useful".

>still no 4G
Why even bother?

Just get a 4G USB, and it'll be fine

But then you lose all of the convenience of portability

>risk of becoming outdated
my experience with mediatek is that whatever version of android it comes with will be the last one they will support

>reeeeeeeeee

We have that light novel writer talking about how he used PDA to write novels (although described in fiction)

No, the gaming version of GPD Pocket is GPD Win (maybe with 2). GPD Pocket is for things other than gaming

Attached: gpd-win-2_05.jpg (503x500, 73K)

That's what I meant, yeah

What is the point of getting this instead of a cheap Chromebook or a used x220?

>I make assumptions and pull information out of the only source I trust: my ass
nice speculation there now maybe you can tell us about the stock market next
