need to be a faggot not to at this point. It really is the only choice worth

>features
bugs*

name some that you think are worth selling your privacy for.

push notifications are actually working on android

Yes. It would be awfully nice if we could eliminate the advertising industry and not have to use adblockers but that's a very minor inconvenience for being able to use loads of free services professionally designed with attention to passively collected expressions of preference from millions of users, which wouldn't exist in the absence of a botnet.

If you can't beat 'em, submit to 'em.

-Sent from my Google Pixel XL running Android 8.1 Oreo, from the Google Chrome browser.

>designed with attention to passively collected expressions of preference from millions of users
doing this produces lowest-common-denominator crap. It's the reason so many websites, services, and software packages have gotten worse in recent years, and making it harder is a good reason on its own to stop the botnetting.

I dropped Chrome because its UI is absolutely fucking atrocious, not because it's botnet.

Search, mail, maps, photos, pay, play music, youtube, drive, docs, sheets, keep

These services alone fundamentally changed how I use my computers

It depends of your level of paranoia. You have nothing to hide, unlike typical Jow Forumsuy.

>>These services alone fundamentally changed how I use my computers
They changed computing and the world, all right. Mostly for the worse.

>not wanting the google waifu to prank call Chinese restaurants for you

>I dropped Chrome because its UI is absolutely fucking atrocious, not because it's botnet.
Same. Firefox is way more keyboard-friendly and that's all I really care about in my browser (along with the ability to block ads and unnecessary css elements).

just let the EU crucify their privacy policy and we're fine

If anything you should be striving every day to irreversibly mentally damage the normie that has to review all your web searches and porn folders

How much you wanna bet the duplex thing was just a recording of humans? I have no actual belief that it was real.

Usually businesses say the name of the business over the phone. I'm more wondering if the second line was just google interns reading from a card.

>Your life perfectly managed by Assistant
>Everything on autopilot mode while you relax
>AI always scanning your bodily functions to keep you in perfect health
>eventually making you practically immortal
>neural interface in brain makes you 10x smarter
>have philosophical discussions with Superintelligent Assistant about the ultimate nature of reality and the universe
>if you want, it can take a female form and be your love companion
Oh my god! the botnet is so evil! install gentoo!

I use android but I cant go back to chrome after using firefox. I would be missing too many features.

gr8 b8, and accurate representation of techno-utopian delusion.

Except I look forward to all that unironically

Then the magic tech breaks and you realize that not only do you not know how to fix it, you've forgotten how to run your day-to-day life without its help.

>Hey, look guys, a free lunch!!

KDE Connect

NOTHING TO HIDE

eat shit, jewgle shill.

It was clearly faked in some way, people don't speak that clearly in real life.

Yup. Install Gentoo, live free, die hard.

I did last holiday. Got a Wear OS watch for my birthday and coincidentally also got a Google Home for Christmas.

At this point Im just giving in. The convenience of everything just outweighs my pride and stubbornness.

Only thing I miss from degoogling my phone is google photos since I don't want all of my creepshots to be deleted everytime the phone gets slow
Problem with that is that google knows that I creepshot my 13 year old cousin and if they want they can label me a pedo

Epic :)

If you linux faggots spent more time making better software instead of complaining and splitting up into 200,000 separate useless projects you could get shit done.

Typical dumb phone poster

>Should we just embrace the botnet?
No.

>They have some nice features.
If you trade freedom for convenience then you will eventually have neither.

>Trying to get on a watchlist for fun
That's a new one.

all of these have working botnet free ecosystem

Yes

You see, if it had all these perks, I'd be the first in line.

Which of these does google have?
>shows you your friends' birthdays
>scans your e-mail, doesn't read it, doesn't show you sorted by importance of person you're talking to
>permanently installed spaghetti module you cannot uninstall.

>not using qwant, not using proton mail

Nah. I've replaced both (((Google))) and (((Facebook))) with Microsoft, Telegram and Mega.

I post on Jow Forums after all, so of course I've embraced the botnet.
