Fira Sans my dude
times new roman 12
Calibri feels so informal
bookerly
>not terminal 6

As you can see by the replies thusfar itt, there is no consensus on fonts on Jow Forums.
Yeah seems that way.
I guess Times New Roman pt.12 is most used
Helvetica everywhere. Haters gonna hate.
Latex
Consolas
Computer Modern, anything else you might as well use Comic sans.
Comic sans is the only font you ever need
Times New Roman or Tinus/Liberation Serif for metric compatibility
I like liberation best, less boring than times yet still professional
>What is Jow Forums general consensus on {noun}?
They're all trash except the one I use
Helvetica for reports.
Univers for presentations
>heilvetica
arial or nothing.
Panic sans
Helvetica/Times New Roman 12
Comic Sans 18
I am a man of culture.

For less official stuff, Arial.

Arial is a knockoff abomination of Helvetica that should not exist; use it only if you want to trigger /gd/
Times New Roman is a real font with a storied history
Calibri is the equivalent of corporate art; bland, inoffensive and designed by committee

helvetica belongs on posters, not computers.
Arial was designed specifically for computer screens and has excellent pixel perfect forms without antialiasing / supbixel blurryshit.

>More specifically, for Uni reports?
OP asked for print fonts.
Apple uses it just fine on the screen, besides.
Arial is a half-broken abortion. Look at the tail of 'a'. It is not taken seriously in proper typography.
Myriad is actually quite nice
times new roman or arial for anything official (mails, reports, assignements, etc...)
Noto Sans is the mandatory system font though
UI: MS Serif Sans
Console: Courier New
Linux Biolinum
>use it only if you want to trigger /gd/
