My redmi note 4 (mtk version) bricked itself.

I woke up one morning and it wouldn't turn on. At all. Such a disappointment, but at least I didn't spend on a "flagship" and didn't lose as much as I could have.

oh and i forgot guys. the display glass is half the thickness of the iPhone. that means that a small bump can break display in half

The "Z" key of my xiaomi mi notebook pro is broken.

I tried pulling it out to switch it with the "Y" key and applied to much force and broke it.

Build quality is fine, i'm probably just retarded.

>I woke up one morning and it wouldn't turn on. At all.
Same happened to me with my OP 5T.
Shame as it happened right when I watched porn and left me blueballed as fuck.

>100$ xiaomi are great
>I better get 300$. It'll surely be 3xGreater
"Flagship" xiaomi meme has to stop. Only Redmi matter.

My Mi Mix 2 is okay.

Stop falling for chinky and go back to time-tested, superior-engineered Japanese electronics.

XZ2 is so bad I lost my hope in Sony.

Remember, fellow Jews and poorfags: refurbished/new old stock flagships or bust.

When did you buy it ?

my redmi note 2 I bought in 2015 for $150 is in top condition and runs everything I want smoothly
I just replaced the battery with an original one for $15 and is just like new
dropped it a few times and only a tiny little hair line crack on the top of the screen
no onscreen buttons
perfect screen to body ratio
1080p IPS 10 core with 2GB RAM
best phone I ever owned

It's either a hit or a miss with these cheap phones. It could fail in 3 months or it could easily last the next 3 years

Have redmi 4 and in my opinion build quality is above average.

They however have ton on qc issues from development phase that end in the final product like rf and wifi performance and lots of various software bugs.

z3c - camera lens coating flaked off, screen adhesive failed, got z5 with super shitty wifi as replacement. Ended up never using it because of it, still have it somewhere in the drawers.

Mix 1 is breddy gud. Fucking hate MIUI, but the same could be said for any skin.

Am I the only one thinking that Sony smartphones are ugly and always were?
Never liked the design, never

My redmi 4x works just fine. Build quality is good. Just disable MIUI updates.

How havent you learned to nut using your imagination yet

Soon as they get their shit together

>dropped redmi note 4 dozens of times with no damage
>battery holds as much charge as it did when i bought it (50 hrs of normal use)
>runs essentially perfectly for over a year with no signs of slowdown for $140

same, except mine is fucking battlescarred and has screen snapped in half horizontally and loose jack
It survived like 10+ drops from 1 meter, usually flat on the screen and only the last one did some damage
nonetheless the screen working perfectly

blockshork

Not him but I'd be too annoyed at my phone breaking to even concentrate properly

bought one about a year a go
havn't got any problems with it
couple of weeks ago fell from about 5m straight down, top left and bottom right corners completly shattered but display and touch still work fine, everything works fine, just 2 major cracks through the screen and those 2 corners as i've said before.
apart from that it's all fine

>mi max
The whole point of chinkphones is to buy cheap, stop wasting over 200 dollars on phones.
My Redmi 4 Prime, which I've had since launch, has eaten shit so many times I lost count. The back has a small dent and the sides have considerable chunks out of them, still works just as well as it did when I bought it. A charge lasts at least two days under normal use.

Got a Mi 5s a year ago and it's great, feels solid as fuck, the quality is miles better than anything in it's price tier.
I don't like using covers, the body is still basically immaculate. Dropped it once on hard wood floor, get a couple small dents that are practically invisible on the side and that's it.
I don't understand the hate on the chinks. Just install a custom ROM and it's one of the best phones out there.

Redmi Note 5 here, arrived here 3 days ago
Amazing phone, especially taking price into account

>>my MiMax breaks into 4 parts every time it falls
pics?

>Almost halfway through 2018
>Redmis are still using microUSB and not Type C
> flagship Mis are removing headphone jack and microSD

Bought a Mi Max 2, build quality is average, fucking MIUI and it's plethora of bugs.
Mi music player keeps trying to take over bluetooth headset controls and fucks over all the other music players that I've tried even though I had the mi player disabled, the only music player I got to work semi reliably with bluetooth is the google music player.
Line and other notification problems took months to fix, and I still miss some notifications.
Headphone jack/amp is jack shit and has barely any volume on good headphones or speakers.

Magisked and google camera modded it to get the camera halfway decent, but still buggy on the some of the recent versions.

Android 8 promised a long time ago but still on 7.

At least the GPS actually works on the Xiaomi unlike the other worse dogshit china phones that I've tried.

All the third party pajeet OS for the mi max 2 are all fucking awful because Xiaomi didn't release the kernal for a damn long time.

Good thing I only paid $190 for my Mi Max 2 4G/64G

My dad has the A1 and it's much better on the OS side, battery is a bit weak, camera is still shit because Xiaomi app, and there were a few bugged releases being reported and he still hasn't received Android 8 even though it's an Android One phone.

Friend has a Note 4X and the battery life is noticeably going bad, but it's near 2 years.

Also wtf is with the rise in redmi prices? Going full Apple? The fully decked out Redmi Note 5 6G/64G is almost $300 bux shipped.

You're using xiaomi.eu, right?

This is why I made the switch to Meizu.
Budget end is a little bit pricier but the m6 note recks the A1 in everything unless you need stock Android.

Launchers never bothered me as long as I can easily access my apps.

I'm done with Xiaomi.

Still the same problems with the headphone jack volume and other shit.

All those hoops to jump through to unlock my phone too.

At this point my next phone will probably be an Asus, they are pretty decent camera wise, not much pricier than Redmi and has NFC, USB type C and much less bugs, and comes with a warranty.

have had a mi5 for well over a year and a half. lots of updates in that time, slipped out of my pocket a few times due to my retardation and some cracks on the back glass, put a AYYY MKBHD HERE DOPE dbrand cover over it and that was that

Yeah I almost got a Zenfone 3 but the price/battery of the m6 note got the better of me.

>>my MiMax breaks into 4 parts every time it falls
Then stop making it fall you fucking retard

>the founder will be worth at least 50 billion come IPO
And all he had to was make shit apple clones for a few years to fund original pajeet shit later life isnt fair

about month ago

same with my ulefone paris
but then i found out the battery actually inflated

Which Meizu phone would you recommend for babby's first Meizu?

wait for the one with surge s2

Meizu 15, 15 lite, or Meizu M6 Note if you want snapdragon SoC.
Meizu 15 plus, m6s, or Pro 6 plus if you want Exynos SoC.
Meizu Pro 7/plus if you want to try the Helio X30. I don't recommend it over the others though.

I would honestly just recommend the M6 Note or 15.

>redmi
That's the budget and poor quality division. You should always buy "Mi", not "Redmi".

>still using microUSB and not Type C
See above. It's their "let's get rid of this off shelf parts we have left" device lineup. Also, many other budget devices still ship with mUSB.

thanks lads
I'll be going with a M6 Note, seems the most affordable out of all of them and that's what I'm looking for right now

I bought Redmi and I am 100% satisfied with what I got for what I paid. Unlike all butthurt fags that fell for Mi meme.
>butthurting about not having usb type C
It's 2018 bois. microUSB is still "the cable that lays around in basically every house, office or car glovebox", call me back when usb C takes it's place. I am not willing to LARP as an early adopter for free.

>plug in a random usb-c cable
>it's chinkshit so it fries your phone
usb-c is doomed to fail

oh yes, also this, LOL
>b-but I wanna usb C because it's the future
I remember shopping for a laptop in 2009. I chose samsung with shitty gpu because it had an eSata port... you know, the future... it had eSata and usb2.0. I guess I learned my lesson about "the future".

Mi4c here, working great
also, sage goes in all fields

Come on the phone. It may fix it.

They must be saving money somewhere (I'm guessing slave labour and Chinese spying subsidies) but never had any quality issues with my Mi Mix 2. Really gnarly phone.

>They must be saving money somewhere
Low margins is like the xioameme operating motto.

>It's 2018 bois. microUSB is still "the cable that lays around in basically every house, office or car glovebox", call me back when usb C takes it's place. I am not willing to LARP as an early adopter for free.

This x1000 1 person i know has a phone with USB C and are always asking to borow chargers until they realise everyone has lightning cables / micro usb cables

My redmi note 3 pro is still going strong after one and a half years.
Only issues I've had are battery (about 10% are gone, but I'm a heavy user so) and once I got scared when it caught quite a lot of rain and the phone speaker and microphone wouldn't work. After a couple of hours they just came to life.

>my MiMax breaks into 4 parts every time it falls
literally every phone

>I went to remove protective cover from it and display panel came off with cover
gorilla

>no mention that miui is a chink government botnet
only buy if you want to use pajeet os

it's a brick like every other phone.
what's the problem?

My redmi note 5 global is coming.

Attached: 1504587874216.png (1024x728, 86K)

Square shapes, strange buttons, ugly icons, big uneven bezels... Ugly

is it pro with snapdildo 636?
is it with f1.9 lens and dual pickle af?

ive had my redmi 4x for about a year and havent had any issues, i even flashed 2 roms and both worked well as daily drivers. my only regret is that it wasnt the hatsune miku version

Elaborate? I love my xz1

The pro is the indian version, chinese and global versions are slightly better.

Attached: 1510097595322.png (657x527, 64K)

waiting for pajeet os.
not sure how that will go because of the camera difference.

Haha, no.
Most good Japanese engineers left long ago (some even to China), Japan's economy hasn't grown in 20 years.
