I'll let the bloat autists give you slimmer options that will take a month to setup.

setup what exactly? code completion is bloat by definition

>not suck balls
Pick one.

>PHP
Kill yourself, then install Visual Studio Code.

>inb4 mac user

if it makes you feel any better, a bunch of tech companies in my area actually give you macbooks for the road.

"it's like a premium alternative to linux"

on IDEs I recommend phpstorm, or vscode if you're a poorfag.

nuclide is your best bet
its built/maintained by facebook and they use php
nuclide.io/

It's already fucking there, use it

VS Code and kys flaming faggot

>Using vim

Yeah sure let me just hit ctrl alt ~ to boot it up, now we gotta hit shift function escape to go into typing mode, make sure you hit alt z q then w three times to get insert mode, don't forget when you're done hold the power button and shove the mouse halfway into your anus to save! woah look at all this time I'm saving using this great software!

is there something wrong with Atom?

that post says more about you than it does about vim 2bh

I don't know what you're talking about, all I did was give a short tutorial on how to get started in vim.

>php

You got bigger problems than text editor's boy

Sublime

Sublime has sucked since Brad died

Emacs or Vim if you're not retarded. VS Code if you are.

You're thinking of emacs.

>Electron
>Desktop program built on JavaScript

>notepad++
>double click installer
>done in 2 seconds
>code completion for a bunch of langs by default, don't even need to open preferences to get started
>RAM usage measured in KB instead of GB
wow that was hard

>XAMPP
Don't

Seconding this, the answer is vim. Pop open a terminal and run `vimtutor`. In half an hour or so you'll be using it with confidence. Good luck!

there's nothing wrong with javascript. even qt uses it now

If you can't tell, you should keep using Atom. Makes it easier for the rest of us to spot and avoid you.

Espresso.

>PHP
>Mac
