I'm basically stuck using Plex on my server which anyone can get access to because there is no way to add a username and password to the admin interface to Plex

a true gentoomen browses his content through neatly organized folders and plays the file natively, not some re-transcoded plex bullshit

My shows are all downloaded automatically with sonaar. If I want to watch something, I just add it to sonaar.

PLEX works fine with 4k videos and the default setting is to play the native video file dipshit.
I have no problems with Emby, been using it for almost 3 years
