You’re supposed to insert the “20 year old boomer” meme or whatever right

honestly past the age of 15 is too old

The what?

>that guy who learn coding at the age of his peak mental performance
I don't see what's bad with it

>20
>peak performance

O I'm laffin

If you're good at math and problem solving you won't really have any problems.

it's not my fault you turned into brainlet after 15

This
You might be considered "decent" or even "good", but you'll never be one of the best

>literal child

>guy that learned coding at 60
>he's actually better at it than you

yea I bet dennis ritchie began koding as a 11 year old on his macbook

> he thinks 'coding' is some super special skill

Al Lowe started coding at 30 something

>kids trying to validate themselves

Learning coding is a never ending process. I started in ninth grade, and I am 29 now

You are probably really good at coding user then.
Can you code an OS after more than 15 years ?

if you don't start at 5 don't even hope of achieving anything

Where are you working right now?

>that 12-year-old post-millennial who uses code as a verb

I don't understand why html and css are on this list

they're scripting tools not programming.

>he did not start learning programming when his father was 6 years old
Never going to make it. It is like being a manlet 6'1" or an 8.5" dicklet.

nah 30 years old is usually where you go from technical to management

you have to learn every new shit that getting out nowadays or you are fucked

>that guy who calls it coding

Write me a kernel thenz since it's nothing special

>shit didn't catch on in Jow Forums despite months of forcing it so I might as well try it here!

wat

>Anyone who haven't received an honorary phd for their bomb looking clock by the time you are 15 should just kill themselves.

>tfw sips posting is back

People said the same when I tried to learn piano.
And they were right ;_;

Many scientists, engineers, researchers etc. only learn to code when the need arises. Why do you think Python is so popular and FORTRAN still exists?

It gets forced across all the boards

Neither will you

if you can't stick to your bait guns you're just wasting your life

seething

but really, what's up with this? I look around github and see dozens of middle schoolers that created their own programming language (albeit simple) or are publishing CTF solutions.

Lmfao I graduated high school in 2011, we didn't have programming classes. Showed up to university and 90% of my classmates had robotics clubs and coding clubs and shit.

what's wrong with that?

So what's your major?

>12 year olds exploiting kernels
>nothing out of the ordinary

Physics.

Damn...do I really look like that to other programmers?

it's fun and it's a better use of their time than using ig/fb/reddit/Jow Forums/9gag/whatever all the time

If you dont know C by age 13, you are a lost cause

Assembly isn't wrong.
It's good to be able to write at a low level, or at least understand it.

even if you code at 15 99 percent of you won't be considered "one of the best"

I learned it and got a job with it at 45 after working in factories my entire life, now I'm a senior (ha) principal engineer making 180k at 57

It's easy stuff, read a book, take ya like a week to be a decent coder. That's why so many kids do it (heck, even women now, prob less work than being a realtor)

This is a bad bait list

It is just young shits being mad they aren't given a job immediately, when they have no social skills.

bullshit
awesome if true

This. Any brain dead faggot who can answer a yes or no question can be a coder. Software “engineers” like to pretend they get paid so much because their job is a skilled one. In reality it’s because it’s a garbage, soulless career and the pay is the only thing keeping them all from an heroing

He needs to be in a nintendo labo box as well.

What's wrong with trying to learn something new?

The guy who wrote Lords of Midnight never even touched a computer until he was 30.
