IntelliJ

Patrician font choice, my man.

Although I have to say I switch to Calamity quite a lot.
Thanks, previously used Fira which is still very nice.

Anyone have a good VSCode tutorial I can use for Javascript/React shit? I've been using Atom currently.

makaba

>app

Not that one. That shit looks like a fucking rainbow.

Monokai Pro with the 'Machine' filter.

Install gentoo

emacs

>2018
>not using vim-like editing
>not using spacemacs, the best of the best 2 editors ever

Why would I use them?

why you like to do implications out of your butthole? vscode has vim-like editting support

Thanks, doc.

Is this the hottest meme among web devs?

no, I use it for C++ , Java and C# and its nice.

vim

Very chingón tema my friendo.

> vim editing: less keystrokes / wasted movement / RSI, super fast code editing and navigation
> emacs: org-mode, configurable as shit, one tool for everything.
Only con of vim/emacs is the configuration languages (vimscript or lisp). Neovim is an early alternative with lua scripting in the works.
Most editors and IDEs do, because vim editing is the non-retard way to edit code, they're limited to shitty plugins in the editor window, though. If you do learn vim editing, you want it all the way.

In addition, if you want simple fast tools (not monstrous IDEs like e.g. intellij idea), there is no reason to go with VS code, atom, SL-text, etc, instead of vim / emacs / spacemacs.

Damn that's really fucking beautiful. Mind sharing the settings?

Thank you

just pick on and stick with it dude.

There are people on Jow Forums right now using VSCode instead of Vim/Emacs/Nano/Notepad

>using vs code
github.com/Microsoft/vscode/issues/16131
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_Studio_Code
>Visual Studio Code collects usage data and sends it to Microsoft, although this telemetry reporting can be disabled.[22] The data is shared among Microsoft-controlled affiliates and subsidiaries and with law enforcement, per the privacy statement.[23]
Enjoy your baked-in obfuscated "telemetry".

I didn't write the Windows NT 4 source code my dude.

What extension do you use for those coloured tabs?

marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=oderwat.indent-rainbow

>use insider version
>whine it has mandatory telemetry
WOW

>terminal app
wew lad

Wonderful, thank you sir

emacs

Why do people come into a thread about a product they don't use?
I truly don't get it, are you really this attention starved?

Attached: baka.jpg (1000x477, 135K)

Its pretty much the same experience, just try it

>you are trying to start vscode as a super user which is not recommended. If you really want to, you must specify an alternate user data directory using the --user-data-dir argument.

I think it's just the one that it ships with it by default. Works fine, even if I don't really like VS Code very much.

get out php nigger

>muh php boogeyman

kill yourself

Tomorrow Night Blue
Consolas

>C#
Are you retarded? Visual Studio (the real one) is one of the few reasons to actually use C#

Those tabs are pretty distracting to me, but I could see them being helpful if that's your thing.

Dear lord that looks hideous

don't do any of that

What?

Monokai

>literally every screen cap here is doing webshit

Attached: 1525283099428.jpg (1080x1053, 77K)
