Post your Firefox addons, Jow Forums!
Why would you have any?
Firefox is gay
What browser do you use instead, namefriend?
>Pure URL
doesn't ublock origin already block google analytics?
if you have ublock, that utm_* isn't doing anything, right?
>not using Jow Forums-x
get out of here weirdo
It's a Greasemonkey userscript ya dumbo
Are you using a Chromium-based browser or something?
theme is FTdeepdark
>Google
Stopped reading there
well if tineye image search actually worked i'd use that
just use Yandex and give up your butthole to Putin
Google Chrome
Wow that's mega gay
that font rendering is horrible
Holy shit that is absolutely abhorrent font rendering. I feel bad for you user.
it's a font type, retards
it's still garbage
Well it's a shit one, retard.
I can't figure out how to only use bitmap fonts in menus. I think it looks cool on some thing like the start menu so that's why I use it
for you
>he fell for the bitmap font meme
Why do you enjoy hurting your eyes?
yeah that's kind of weird, it looks much better in your start menu than it did on the addons page.
Oh yeah and it looks normal for things where I need to read a lot like webpages so I just keep it that way
It probably has something to do with how it's a larger font size on the addons page or something
Same i use for almost every browser
>Disconnect
>Dashlane plugin
>HTTPS everywhere
>Ublock origin
>Greasemonkey
Though appchanx no longer works with firefox with is fucking shit so i have to use Iridium to browse here.
>>Disconnect
>>Dashlane plugin
for waht?
Disconnect will block cross site tracking, analytics and ad shit. Basically anything that ublock doesn't catch. It brags that it makes browsing faster in doing so but it's probably not noticeable since ublock will catch most of the actual adds and block them. Definitely worth having for everyone.
Dashlane is my password manager, it being handy as fuck aside, the plug in will autofill passwords, card details, and other info for me. Again super handy. I trust it with my info more than firefox.
why overcomplicate your life?
I use only HTTPS Everywhere and uBlock Origin
on Seamonkey
>1.16.4
UPDATE IT
will quantum ever be as customizable as old firefox?
theres a couple of addons that I can't live without.
I also have a really fucked up general layout, with most functional stuff at the bottom of the browser
>will quantum ever be as customizable as old firefox?
no
Are there any extension that let me hide scrollbars? I love everything about firefox but that goddamn scrollbar sucks.
>Firefox
HA!
Does your scrollbar also do that thing where it fucks up and doesn't go where you drag it?
No, I'm on latest nightly btw
its the latest verison available
>want to make firefox extension
>guides are too simple and unrealistic
>real extensions are too complex and confusing
what kind of extension were you think about making, user?
I thought uMatrix was a superset of uBlock Origin, so you didn't need both.
To my understanding they're just made by the same person and have separate uses. Ublock is particularly for blocking ads while Umatrix is for blocking net requests
ubo is mostly for ads but both can block js
umatrix has some features ubo doesnt and vice versa
I really wish he would just combine all features into 1 extension though
Not for a long time.
my font rendering isn't much better, how the fuck do I change the default FF font from serif to anything other fucking fontface
t. brainlet
Take a couple of minutes and go through preferences
Dont be lazy
you sir, are a faggot
>adnauseum
What about it?
what's the point of using it?
Blocking ads
masterrace
but it doesn't block ads
What? Yes it does.
then why do you have ublock origin?
Blocking scripts
also switch to stylus instead of stylish. Stylish got bought by some analytics company.
there's nothing that adnauseum can do (as far as blocking ads go) that uBo cannot do.
Will do
Sometimes uBlock misses something Adnauseam doesn't. Sorry it tickles your autism but I really don't give a fuck, both are staying installed.
Also does uBlock click ads?
no
Then that's all the more reason to keep Adnauseum installed
What user agent switcher should I use?
What style manager should I use? Stylus?
>browsers exist to render html. text - literally
>no browser in 2018 can regulate the size of images and the text on a webpage separated from each other ootb
>no browser can remember zoom levels per domain ootb
Chrome has font size in its settings, but it doesn't store sizes per domain and also you need to always enter preferences to zoom, which is bullshit.
Firefox has font settings as well, but minimum font size setting will definitely break websites that depend on the contrast of big and small text. Setting bigger regular font sizes will only work on sites without CSS (aka. none) and/or break text rendered in boxes (new line breakage or overlapping).
You always need extensions like "Zoom Page WE" or "NoSquint Plus" to get this up and running.
Not even fucking Vivaldi can handle this out of the box.
I really don't understand this. Why is this such an alien concept to sooo many people? We render text here, bloody hell. Why can't I select the text sixe? With a shortcut like Ctrl Shift +/- (Ctrl +/- zooms already)? Why do I have to enter settings of a browser to do that on a global manner? Why the fuck?
Why devs so dense? I don't get it. What a shitfest.
Am I the only person in the universe that has a regular PC monitor that isn't just one foot away from his face?
it lets people who dont block ads become less trackable because it renders the click-through analytic meaningless.
its something called altruism, maybe you haven't heard of it
>tfw still on 56.0
I just can't move on from this dark theme and tabs. Anyone with me?
I'm still on 52 ESR, like you should be
What's wrong with 56? I'm only on it because some of my add-ons won't work without it
>tfw downthemall is still not updated
>What's wrong with 56?
No updates.
>I'm only on it because some of my add-ons won't work without it
That's the exact reason I'm on 52 ESR. ESR stands for Extended Software Release. While 56 is a newer version, it's receiving absolutely no updates while 52 ESR is still receiving security updates.
>No updates.
As opposed to...
>ESR stands for Extended Software Release
Ah. Why did they pick 52 to ESR and not 56 for example?
>As opposed to...
52 ESR's security updates.
>Why did they pick 52 to ESR and not 56 for example?
Don't ask me, I just use it
