Easy enough to test, and you can dispute if it's wrong. Ask the seller first (or better yet, publicly ask in the questions) if it's a concern. I can't imagine a lot of smoking stuff would be acrylic, that would be immediately obvious when it melts; you might get away with it on dildos if the person is actually retarded.

They're about 2mm wider than a Magic: The Gathering card is, so they fit these boxes perfectly.
Another user was asking me to post if they were good or not when I got them, and they're pretty good. I never thought to be overly analytical about my labelmaker tape, so I can't say how well these compare to Brother brand ones, but out of the 11 I received, the white on black has the gloss layer offset from the others by maybe 1-2mm, so there's an edge without adhesive hanging off one side, and a difference in color on the opposite. Other than that, gold on black took maybe 6 inches to get past a crumpled part, white on blue started with the gloss layer crooked and took a few inches to straighten back out, and 6mm black on white had a spec of something leftover from the factory, which got laminated under the gloss layer on the first layer. After those first couple labels on the ones that had problems, it's just that offset white on black that's still having issues, so 10/11 are good, 1/11 isn't right, but isn't unusable. Black on gold/silver is good, but the gloss layer doesn't adhere perfectly, so it kinda alternates between smooth metallic, and kind of a super faint mottled finish, like how if you take a sticker off of glass and try to put it back on again, it won't touch perfectly everywhere. It's not obvious though, you'd need to catch the light just right. I'm still pleased.
1/11 usable but mildly damaged. 2/11 good, but not as good as name brand. 3/11 had minor issues that just required wasting a few inches of tape, so still a deal. 5/11 flawless.

But, again, the feel is different. The sound is different. It's easily testable. I'd be surprised if they tried to actually fake it. They might list a bunch of buzzwords in the title though, that I'd believe. Or use normal glass instead of borosilicate. Borosilicate is the good stuff, accept nothing less. Xtronic 2030 or something like that on Amazon for $50. Only one I've used, but I like it, and the temperature control is reasonably accurate.

Ok, it COULD have shit performance and coverage. Multiple bands are used to deal with congestion, like channels on your wireless router. If you only have one channel available, you gotta hope other people switch to the other channels, because you can't.
