Jow Forums you told me LibreOffice was a good alternative to MSOffice. This graph was on page 10 when I inserted it, and when I open the document again now it's on page 8 on top of the other elements. Wtf?

What's a real alternative to MSOffice?

Did you save the file as excel?

>taking a picture of the screen
op pls

I don't have any components of MSOffice, so I use SigmaPlot for graphs because Calc is shit. It's a png
I don't use my laptop to browse Jow Forums

>What's a real alternative to MSOffice?
using your uni email address to get a free copy of Office 2019

Install Microsoft Office.

WPS Office

Office Online that you get for free with a Microsoft account.

I have a shitty laptop with 30gb rom and windows 10 occupies like 25gb. Unfortunately I don't have anymore space to install it because even if I uninstall LibreOffice I would still need more space for MSOffice...

>30gb
Consider escaping your 3rd world shithole before you start worrying about your computer.
I could buy a 1TB SSD with one day's wages and I'm not even in a highly paid profession.

That happens when you don't use open formats: stop using .doc

I'm poor, my dude, I couldn't escape if I wanted to

My parents fled China during the Tiananmen Massacre and came to America with $200 USD in life savings and now own a half million dollar home and another half mil in retirement savings, they're worked their way up from restaurant dishwashers and waiters up to blue collar office work and then management. If they can do it, so can you, but giving up before you try will never work.

>If they can do it, so can you
I won a million at Vegas. If I can do it, so can you.

That's different, cuck, and you know it

just use latex

No that's not different.

Yeah, I was just exaggerating. I do plan on getting out of this shithole once I finish Uni. Well, it depends, maybe I can land a good job on this country. Forestry engineering pays well over here

literally paying to play casino games vs working and saving are totally the same thing
hmmmmmmmmmm

>hard work and pure luck are not different

retard

Just use MS Office, don't listen to the freetard autismos.

>30gb
That's more than enough for Win10 LTSB on CompactOS mode + ms office 2010/2013

This. It's legitimately better than MS Word, it's FOSS, and if you're a pajeet there are online editors so you don't even need to use backslashes.

Becoming rich by hard work is total luck. Billions of people work hard and are poor.

I think I know why you can't achieve what you want.

How did you save the file, with which file extension?

he asked if you saved this file as .xls or .xlsx
Libre has issues with that.
If you want to avoid problems, save files in Libre's native format .ods

no, that's not different.
His point is that back then you had more chances of winning the lottery, than now.
Your biggest bet, when entering the US with $200 will be to have your money stolen and get shot point blank.
I know a lot of people who fled to Switzerland without finishing high school, not even speaking french and ended working for UBS in the 70s... one of them got retired a few years ago with several mill as property and cash value.
A friend went there to get a job in some bank after finishing his 4 year bachelor, fluently speaking french and ended up in some kind of babysitter that does private lessons to kids at home.
If you can't even get that times have changed and everything is more difficult now than it was several decades ago, you are stupid and lucky that you don't have the need to use your brain to survive.
Make your grandparents a big fat Tomb, they deserve it.

>scatter plots in a spread sheet
Use R or Python already. Statistical analysis on spreadsheets is absolutely herpes.

>Becoming rich by hard work is total luck.
not at all, index funds exist
billions of people work hard and continue making poor choices and are held down by people around them and they never break free from it because they (much like the faggot ITT) keep making shitty fucking excuses to stay in miserable situations

>I could buy 1TB with one day wage
Do you get paid 40 Euros a day?

>successful people are just lucky
people like you are the reason why I am playing life at easy mode. Keep up (or rather down) the good work. don't forget to shine my boots clean, otherwise I will fire you from your shit tier job.

Oh, I usually save file documents on .docx because my teachers and almost everyone uses Word, but I don't know if saving it in Libre's native format could cause problems for them.
The graph is an image, though. It's a png
I'm learning how to use R Studio

>I'm learning how to use R Studio

While you're working on documents, stick to native formats.
Convert (save as..) final version to docx/xlsx and reopen it to check. Or even better, export to pdf if your teachers accept this

Thanks for the tips, anons

When the commies will come you'll regret it.

>When the commies will come you'll regret it.
which is never? they can't do shit but wait for other people to do their chores.

Is that fear?

alternative of creating documents is to use HTML Documents;
which editors are still to be created as Office Softwares, meaning better productivity of HTML projects are still held of Internet Super news and Sites;
Thus a lack of perception about HTML Documents;

>$500k savings for a lifetime of work in america is pure luck
That's not even a lot you retard. The main deciding factor there is where you work. No shit you'll never get anywhere working in a 3rd world shithole collecting cans to recycle.

Buy Softmaker Office. Lightweight Microsoft Office Alternative.

OpenOffice.

I said SSD, but that's probably not in your vocabulary being a third world peasant.

how does it feel to boast about your imaginary wealth to anonymous traps on the four channels?

Consider learning to use Latex.
