It's a crippled and dysfunctional Ubuntu GNOME with "BUY OUR SHIT" messages in it. It's a useless distro and it's """simplicity""" gets in your way when you try to do anything that the guys who re-skinned GNOME and called it pantheon didn't want you to do. Basically, it brings some of the worst things of MacOS to Linux and doesn't give anything back other than a shitty theme which you can mimic in KDE, GNOME, Xfce and MATE in less than 10 minutes.
