overpriced trash

Every chair thread has a dozen faggots with an Ikea Markus, so I guess I'll be the first of them.

It's one of the very few chairs that locks reclined, most will only lock upright. I refuse to use a chair without this feature.

Expensive but one of the best investments i've made in a long time.

The hard plastic slowly saws away at the delicate fabrics of your clothes. You can see a cake of fabric and dust collected underneath the seat.

The aeron is a work chair, you can't recline and relax in it to watch a movie and it's very difficult to even move around in

I've never found a better chair for the price.

It has been pretty decent so far, helped fix the lower back discomfort I was getting in my old shitty generic office chair.

Real talk why do you people buy racing chairs?

How do they hold up over time?

gotta go fast

Mine is... I think around eight or nine years old. The little pad inside the netting in the back came loose on one end, I had to bodge that back into place. Other than that its held up fine. About a decade ain't bad for a $200 chair.

Wobbly armrests
4/10

meme low back support desu

I've had mine for about 5 years and have been particularly hard on it this year. Things have just started creaking every time I shift my weight.
I have to tighten the screws, especially for the arms, every few months or so but so far nothing, that I can tell, has bent or twisted from my fat ass leaning back in it.

poor

cushion flattens fairly quickly if you spend a lot of time on it, but that's common with these kinds of chairs.

holy shit. why

why not sit on an exercise ball, Jow Forums?

Attached: 1444085276165.gif (193x227, 1024K)

They're comfy as fuck, if you've ever sat in one you'd know. Upper back support is good because when watching long videos or movies at your computer you can just lead the whole thing back and enjoy with your feet up.

i used one of them, until the cotton fell out of the seat pad part of it, and i was just sitting on a piece of plastic. it was when i didnt get sore from sitting and using a computer

why are racing chairs even a thing desu?

back pain problems, i must need something to lean

>women and computers

Top tier lad. Always loved mine.

Really happy with my purchase even though it was pricey.
The neck rest is really comfortable and the straps keep me upright during long gaming sessions.

Attached: 1.jpg (1000x1000, 66K)

Mine’s holding up fine despite the fact I sleep on it during crunch time.

>no lumber support

Looking for a new chair, my current one has its height compressor leaking so it's always at the lowest

what shall i say its a doggy dog world

Good chair, about 250 AUD

I just have a 50 dollar one I got at walmart (one of the only times in recent years I even step foot in a normal walmart but the neighborhood market grocery store is nice and comfy, closer, and never really that insanely busy when i go there)

Not for my desk but I still have one of these on the floor in my room from many years ago, don't think they make them anymore

Attached: akrocker.jpg (193x261, 4K)

this chair at the office is really expensive but its probably the most comfortable office chair i've ever sat in

the mesh on this and the mesh on a chair like this is like night and day, its pretty crazy:

the Jow Forumsesture is the official chair of Jow Forums, it's a great choice user

anyone else fucking hate those stupid head rest things?
they never feel right and they're just annoying

What is the difference?

Attached: cock n balls chair.jpg (600x482, 28K)

that is one sexy chair ima be honest

see

the feeling is just way different
cheaper meshes just feel like a flimsy plastic back
the mesh on that humanscale one molds to your back. its super comfy

Not going to rate numerically but the aeron is a love or hate chair and I hated it. Waterfall shit cuts off circulation. Never got comfortable in one and I sat it one for 2.5 years

Same response

I hear nice things but some people hate the high back because it makes them feel like a toddler in an adult chair or child in a booster seat.

Had this problem with the Aeron as well. Tore my work pants to shreds.

A self cleaning chair
if you rub this chair for about 10 minutes
a robotic arm appears and rubs itself
until it squirts leather-polish all over itself and then wipes it off

It's made of wood though so I'm not sure what you mean

hell yeah brother

they have a 10 year guarantee so they can't all be bad, the build quality is reasonable for the price but you're not paying a lot in all honesty
had mine for about 18 months with nothing to complain about yet

>Things have just started creaking every time I shift my weight.
mine came squeaking from the factory, had to disassemble it and lube it up

Attached: maxresdefault1.jpg (1280x720, 135K)

Designed and built for fatasses and professionals who never leave their chair.

Attached: btec 820.jpg (450x450, 16K)

OP here. It's not an aeron.

I was thinking about getting this chair, think it's a good idea? I guess I can always get a markus from my local Ikea as an alternative but it doesn't seem like a very impressive chair for $200.

Attached: 61VsnxZOc2L._SL1000_.jpg (1000x1000, 80K)

Mirra 2 is basically an aeron junior, but I do hear the fabric is less coarse on the Mirra 2 than the aeron

It's an aeron...only without the hard plastic shell and abrasive fabric. Also has an adjustable depth adjustment so you dont get cut off circulation.

All the pros of the aeron none of the cons.

Some say the Aeron has a more comfortable seat and better tilt controls, along with a higher overall build quality.

300 euro chair. Works fine for my length (195 cm)

>I hear nice things but some people hate the high back because it makes them feel like a toddler in an adult chair or child in a booster seat.
What the hell. I'm pretty insecure, but worrying about feeling emasculated by the kind of chair you sit in at your desk is another level.

Besides, the high back is really nice. You can lean your head back and there's a cushion for it, instead of it just flopping over because of the chair's short back.

Yes my research told me that the mirra 2 seat is a bit firmer, never heard anything about the tilt controls, everywhere I've looked says the mirra 2 breaks less.

I would say it's pretty good because I have it.

saved a Dauphin Shape from the garbage

Shit, I remember using these and pic related at work because it was the closest approximation a chair our boss would buy. That fucker didn't want to see us sit, even if my job was all about being bent over a machine for 8 hours.

Going on the steelcase website, they have so many chairs that look exactly like the leap/gesture. Anyone know anything about the Think/Silq/Series 1?

anyone know of any fabric swivel chairs?

Now that's a proper chair instead of these faggot gamer imitations. Does the power adjust still work?

I have one and I find it comfortable for long periods of time.

There could easily be batteries under the chair, all you'd need is a few 18650s.

Literally the best chair ever made

what are batteries

Just bought a HON HV701.

On sale on Amazon right now for 25% off.

We have them at work and they're fucking awesome. Also has a 5 year warranty that apparently is more or less no questions asked for replacement parts.

Pretty hyped to get it
