>sublime text

LMAOING AT UR LYFE
I'm a huge fan of Atom too, user. And it's also open source, so...
vim
vs code
>let’s use JavaScript to write a text message editor.
I’m all for opensource but using js was retarted.
vim
wordpad faggots
Emacs
vim
Literally no reason to use atom when code exists
TextEdit.app
Electron gives me cancer.
Atom would be 10x better if it didn't require 2gb of ram to idle.
but it doesn't though, I have a few tabs open and it's using less than 200 MB of ram
>doesn't know how to find leaked licenses and disable botnet in hosts
why the fuck are you even on Jow Forums?
I have 6 tabs open on Sublime and it's using 22MB of ram
Two hundred fucking megs of ram for a fucking text editor.
I rest my case.
>200 MB of ram
>12.3MB of ram
>2.8MB of ram
>348K of ram
VSCode
Why? It werks.
>Bragging you can use paid software without paying
Why the fuck are you even on Jow Forums? Also sublime is great, your just being dumb though.
why are you whining about RAM usage? are you poor?
ED IS THE STANDARD TEXT EDITOR
this
I think the ability to freely modify the source code and recompile is a huge plus.
>ed using 1/10th a Meg
What the fuck when did software get so bloated
i3 + vim
this dick lmoa
VSCode is the best, comparing it to atom I personally think VSCode is better in every single way and nobody should ever use Atom.
THIS
Vim is comfiest
It works and it's got a great community around it, but large file performance is very, very poor compared to VSCode/Sublime/etc. Fantastic if you're working on small projects, can be slow and unresponsive with larger ones even on high end rigs, however.
Microsoft Word
I'll stick with Sublime text thanks.
At least it doesn't take 5 minutes to start up and isn't laggy as shit after 10 lines of code
Does Atom actually have users?
Real answers
Btw go back to
Used it for a couple days but git integration was dogshit so I replaced it with vscode
ITT MS shills
>shilling for something that is free and doesn't track user data or do anything malicious
