oh yes. here we go again

shortly there will be the stalled posts shitposted again

>being this retarded

Does qBittorrent display global download/upload stats by now?

>tfw my distro's repository is still on 4.0.3

>using a shitty distro

There is no point to give a shit about it updating. As long as it downloads torrents is all that matters.

help

Disable smartscreen for now and then enable it later.

>>BUGFIX: Suppress multiple I/O errors for the same torrent (sledgehammer999)
Fucking finally

does it have some kind of daemon, like transmission ?

Unfortunately no. There is a headless version and you can use webui. But you can't use rss through webui. I haven't tried this new version yet.

Weitere information
Then enable it to be installed.

Does it have a dark mode?

not on windows

Still using 3.316. Did they fix the rapidly changing unstable DL/UL speed issue?

>malware
>nope

enjoy

I really wish they would still use the old logo.
The new one just looks so bland and generic

I prefer the new one. Much simpler and more readable.

im on 3.3.10, its super comfy though OP

Thx serge le hammer66

when will there be RSS for the web gui

ok autismo

>just let the malware in and enable it later, no big deal goy

yes it does

It's never happened on my machine

tixati does, by default

still worse than 2.2.1

Get back to me when they haven't needed to update in 7 years like uTorrent 2.2.1.
Not gonna be a beta tester for incompetent devs.

reminder that:

qBittorrent runs a LOCAL JAVASCRIPT SERVER (probably full of security holes) and if you block that localhost:qBittorrent port it will literally shit its pants and will stay in a while true loop eating 99% of your CPU

its coded by monkeys, thats programming 101 exception handling and they cant get it right

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (132x150, 7K)

Are you gonna prove it or should we just ignore you?

Its working fine now. This happens all the time with new releases of software for like 12 hours until the Windows Smartscreen™ approves it.

i just use Transmission.

Is there a way to show notifications with system tray mode disabled?

Do you use Arch too?

Good thing I use Transmission

>
user they doesn't have Force resume or force start please clear my doubt is force resume/start help for downloading because sometime in qbittorrent .torrent not started so I force started it worked what about transmission

Thanks for the info but I'll stick with Deluge.

>using a python torrent client

kek

>willingly installing russian malware on your machine
gonna say pass

Recently I change from uTorrent to qBittorrent but I don't know if there is much difference. qBittorrent has no ads and has more options of configuration, I don't know if it consumes less RAM or CPU yet. Or if the downloads are slower.

>ads
uTorrent 2.2.1 doesn't have any ads, user.

are you implying it's been fixed?

Thanks for the (You) my dude.

Why don't the devs stop being lazy and add this?

github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/pull/8702

What does qBittorrent offer over KTorrent?

Waste of time

I haven't updated since version 3.
Why does everyone call newer versions botnet/malware?

>knowing the progress of your downloads/playlist is a waste of time

That's white Firefox/Chrome and pretty much every media player has this capability.

Qb a shit.

just a bunch of fag trolls with no job, no life, no nothing.

Nobody gives a shit about that. qBit is a torrent client, not your media player.

It's not just for media players it's also for anything that can download files.

Firefox/Chrome have this enabled and you can see the status of your downloads just by looking at the taskbar. Qb could be unique and implement this but their devs are lazy fucks.

Why would I need that shit when it notifies me when the torrent is done? Go get a job instead of worrying about this you stupid fag.

Is there a way to have it save my torrented files to the directory the .torrent was in?

This or deluge?

this

Or deluge

deluge is bloated shit

Yes it's in the setting. Where you scan for torrents in the selected directory you can choose where it saves the files

View -> Statistics

Is it better than 2.0.4 yet?

it's off by default, and many torrent clients have this feature

Attached: qb.png (781x623, 41K)

Same thing

>uTorrent 2.2.1 doesn't have any ads, user.
But that is an older version. It's recommendable to have your software always updated right?

Enjoy your unpatched security flaws

But qBittorrent IS botnet. How can I avoid the botnet by installing the botnet?

>WEBUI/RSS: Properly set RSS settings via API (glassez)

Nice. Now it'll just take another year to add UI control so I can finally dump flexget

One year? Most likely in a few months.

idiot

>no daemon
to the trash it goes

They still haven't fixed torrent queuing? Useless.

Being this dumb.

They broke their integrated search engine.

I'm going back to 4.0.9 and never updating.

>They broke their integrated search engine.

Works fine, nigger.

Not really related to the client itself but what are the nordVPN ads on piratebay? They warn about getting fines etc in UK for using torrents without vpn. Has there something specific going down recently or is it just an ad? I personally haven't received any letters and haven't bothered to use vpn because I've been quite lazy. Internet account is also not in my name but in the landlord's (which is a shitty small company who scams people so I don't really care if they get a warning or not).

Err no

thanks sledgehammer999

what the fuck is a javascript server

updates.

Click more info and then run anway you useless faggot

lol

qBittorrent or Transmission?

Transmission for stability, qBittorrent for features.

What features Transmission lacks that qBit has?

google it brainlet

When is it getting a media server like Vuze has? It's the reason I've stuck to Vuze all these years, but I've been using qB for a couple of months, and I miss this thing.

Just use another media server. Vuze is shit.

>just get more software lmao
There is nothing wrong with Vuze's media server. Vuze itself though has stopped accepting magnet links and even manual torrent files (???) which is why I'm even on qB to begin with via a friend's recommendation.

If Vuze still worked I'd use it.

Please show how
