Europa.eu

The EU is such a joke. They push for GDPR for privacy/security but their own official website is not secure (outdated connection methods). You would at least expect that the people who are pushing for this stuff would have their own shit together.

GDPR doesn't apply to government websites regardless. Stay mad amerimutt.

Oh shit, I just checked Jow Forums and it got an A rating. EU is indeed a joke

It's a matter of principle. It also makes them look like they don't know what they're doing.

lol

Because cloudflare is basically a free A rating, regardless of how shitty the origin server is.

Makes sense. I had originally expected a C grade at best.

> the government exempts itself
> somehow that’s ok
> meanwhile they are using poorer security practices than the companies they’re targeting
I’ll never understand you yuropeons.

You're a socialist country and you've blown your budget on rapfugees. What do you do?

It's called corruption which is exactly what the EU is made of. Make no mistake this bill isn't to help europeans. That's just a coincidental sideaffect. It's to generate billions from corporate companies that they know won't be able to meet the deadline and will be fined.

>Corporations should be equal to a government
cucks

In my opinion, governments should be MORE secure than companies. Insecure or outdated government stuff makes me lose faith in the competence of governments.

They should also hold themselves to the same standards they proclaim.

the only sensible thing you can do:
cock over american companies
economic warfare, LOL

https connections don't mean shit unless there's login data involved.

I bet they use the same setup for logging in. You can't even connect to the site if you have only secure connection methods enabled.

And by secure I mean ciphers that are not weak and that have forward secrecy.

It's probably enabled so ie6 on XP can connect. As a government site they can't be to eager to drop support.

Yes it does.

Proofs?

>GDPR
>bad

Reminder that every business destroyed by this law will deserve it.

>SSL is security
K

That site is old as fuck, but it is just a page full of links and nothing important.

There is absolutely no reason for it to be insanely secure because you can't do shit to it anyway.

privacy and security aren't the same thing famalambam

> my email is secure because I encrypted my inbox

> reading

they don't. almost every government related program has literally no fucking idea what they're doing. why do you think we can't catch any terror threats etc?

doesn't really matter. you can copy paste a command from lets encrypt and have an A+ rating.

Europe is one of the less corrupt region in the entire world, i don't know where you get your info from.

> europe is better at hiding corruption
ftfy

And what the fuck about banking?
I can set a 6 character PIN and transactions are protected by a SIM card with a 4 char PIN.
Why is even Steam more secure?

EU is the most corrupt at the moment.

The government, the agents in it want to increase their power. The problem (for them) is that if you have a strong community around you, you're working a trade and you have a healthy family and there's not much crime, you don't need the government to do much.

Break down the family, encourage single motherhood, crime, poverty, traumatize people and keep them stupid through terrible public schools. Now they need a bigger government and they'll accept whatever measures you put in to solidify your power and make them totally dependent on you and the crumbs you send their way.

So foreign rapists make society less safe, removing the trust neighbors have for each other. They create whole generations of women broken down psychologically keeping their backs down. It's sick but it's good for them. The people in charge don't care about morality. They don't care about kids being raped.

Learn to pace yourself.

Yeah, because in America corruption is in plain sight
>muh corporate lobbyists

It’s called transparency.

>Look at me and the corporate dong ravaging my intestines! So transparency!
