It has to do with a Jow Forums script detecting you are blocking ads before the your adblock software blocks the script.
The only workaround is to do a full reload of the page by pressing ctrl-f5

One thing to try is to completely remove ublock origin (which clears out all the filters) and to reinstall it and select the filter lists again. I did try just clearing the caches but that didn't work but a complete reinstall did.
