Commodore Basic if we're counting that.

GEOS if not.

Wrong gen, ya underageb&. I'm Gen X; boomers are shit and so are (You).

First OS I used was Windows 98 in 1999 when I was a five year old boomer. I also used older operating systems out of curiosity later on.

don't think the HP9800 really had an OS, so probably MP/M on an Altos terminal?
the BOFH at dad's office never trusted anything new, so he'd leave the old systems online but out of sight, and it was no biggie if a kid wanted to play some zork on the third or fourth line of backup hardware.

That is a badass excavator, OP

MS-DOS 4.01

It sucked.

I have no idea but I remember playing Oregon Trail on it in 2nd grade which was about '89 or '90? First home computer had Windows 95, first OS I ever tried to install myself was RedHat 6 which made several people angry when I couldn't figure out how to get dial-up to work.

Fuck from Atari 800 basic for gaming.

Did not know a $hit.

That Atari 8 bit had some sweet gamz.

Yep. Spy vs Spy, Joust, Ollie's follies... Although that tape loading...

Same here. Workbench v2 or thereabouts. Had so much fun poking around and trying to make things work, being confused by shell, etc (I was 10).

After that, in order: Windows 3.1/DOS, Win95, WinME, WinXP, Linux, Win7, MacOS, Win10.

I now use Linux for work and Win10 at home, because muh gayms. Been a fun ride so far.

Whatever operating system the Apple IIGS used. I don't remember doing anything than playing educational games

Some Debian derivative that my elementary school had on the computers. I remember me and other children laughing every time they crashed due to kernel panic and wonder what the hell a kernel panic was. That reminds me to install nibbles, that game was fucking epic

> C'est comme un tattoo avec une histoire maintenant j'imagine.

C'est une façon de voir la chose but frankly it makes me cringe everytime I see it. On the other hand I've never even bothered trying to erase it donc j'imagine que le tattoo est là pour rester.

You're all like little babies.

Nothing wrong with xp except all the device manufacturer being a bitch and not releasing updated drivers for XP. I'm a DOS gen but i use win10 as main now also don't see whats the point of these SCUB/Anti-SCUM arguments.

Windows XP. I also have a nice wallpaper for you, anons.
