For some reason violentmonkey doesn't work with Jow Forums X but tampernonkey does. GM also works but is slow to load scripts.

Dump uMatrix, use NoScript. It does the same + XSS/Clickjacking protection.

This thread comes in handy for one thing: I propose you guys to use, for our standard browsing (you can use a different browser for Jow Forums or whatever requires another add-on, for example Firefox DevEdition or Nightly) a "standardized" add-ons set of the normal Firefox release in order to blend better and resist fingerprinting.

The set I propose is:
-uBlock Origin
-NoScript (no need for uMatrix as this one does the same + you'd need it anyway for XSS/Clickjacking)
-HTTPSEverywhere
-Decentraleyes
-Cookie Autodelete (you can turn off the autodelete feature or whitelist the cookies you want to keep if you're into leaving them active).
-Lightbeam

You don't need dark mode extensions as Firefox's reading mode does the same.

We could also put this in the sticky thread if someone contacts the mods. It would be great if we started fighting fingerprinting together

There are things umatrix does that noscript cant though

uBlock Origin
HTTPS Everywhere
NoScript
Privacy Badger
Decentraleyes

Night Mode Pro
Adblock Plus
PopupKiller
New Tab Homepage

They're superfluous (like filtering frames and shit, you only really care about scripts), and most of them can be achieved in NoScript too once you get comfy with it. The point is to not have unnecessary add-ons just for the sake of unnecessary convenience or habitude.

ublock origin
