>B-b-but AMD is better value than Jewtel, Intel is sooo overpriced!!!! AMD is the intelligence consumers choice, [insert more cliche delusional marketing speak by coping amd kids here], amd ftw bros!!
Uhm, just built an intel build for less than AMD, only thing I changed is the ssd drive size (other than changing the motherboard which is not optional).

Why would anyone EVER build AMD? Even the stock clocked Intel will run better.
>inb4 COPING amd fan kids

p.s.

Not even an intel fanboy, last system I built was amd, never making that mistake again.

You're just mad AMD cucked intel once again with TR2

Yeah for like a week, until intel BTFO's them again for years. Literally the last 2 decades of history.

>CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K
>Motherboard: ASRock - B360 Pro4
Pairing an unlocked CPU with a locked mobo is just silly - either go for a Z370 board if you wanna OC or else get a non-K 8700 if you don't.

THAT DOESN'T FIT THE PRICE RANGE. GTFO AMERIKEK

The unlocked cpu is faster out of the box.
And an unlocked motherboard is still only a little bit more. Dropping the hdd fron 3tb to 1tb and then you can take an unlocked mobo, all for less than the amd system. Sure you'll lose out on some hardrive space, but you'll get a better system.

>just built an intel build for less than AMD
>only thing I changed is the ssd drive size
you probably would've been called retarded either way, but shit lad, get it together

The cpu, gpu, and ram are the only thing that matter. Hard drive space is easily changeable whenever with internal and external drives.

>1200£ range
AMD was always the best option in the 500/700 range, when you want to spend the bare minimum but you want a decent system also
>Shitty mobo
>Half the SSD space
That seems a bit partial doesn't it?

>Haha intel build is cheaper
>d-don't pay attention to the smaller, therefore cheaper ssd I used. I-it doesn't matter

I upgraded from my ancient ass intel setup to a Ryzen 1700x for only four hundred bucks CAD I don't know what you're talking about OP. When talking about prices of Intel and AMD you should only really be talking about CPU and mobo (which I guarantee you you can find one less than 120 good boy points)

Who cares about the hardrive, it's irrelevant.
You can get an i3 or i5 for very cheap.

Then why not use the same on both system? (I already know the answer to this question)

quick google says that 2700x and 8700k are comparable, sometimes 8700k does it better, sometimes ryzen. and vidya is worst case scenario possible for ryzen since devs won't utilize gorillion core technology

So remove it form both builds, what is the cheaper now, KIKE?

intel have been getting BTFO'd since 2017 continually

>amd copelets

>AMD build is actually slightly cheaper and has a better mobo with more features if you use the same storage options as the intel build
>only marginally slower in games and faster in virtually everything else that utilizes multiple cores
What about this is supposed to BTFO AMD, OP?

>performs worse due to locked mobo even in gaymes, gets destroyed in MT
>costs more (ssd)
What's your point you fucking idiot?

The absolute state of Intel shills

>8 core
lol what for

Whenever AMD can't compete they just add more cores. They did the same shit when core 2 duo came out, on paper those tri core AMD processors were great but in reality people were returning them.

>66254650
>cost argument
>lol you don't need that many cores!!!
still triggered after getting btfo yesterday?

i78700K would only be good enough to match with 2700x if oc'ed to 4.7 ghz,and doing it with a 212 and a b360 seems suspect

amd is for indians

>$120 for motherboard

Enjoy all your hardware problems that you'll blame on Windows or Linux.

>>B-b-but AMD is better value than Jewtel
Get out from under your rock lad, 2700X not just better value, but just faster than 8700K.

Home desktop market is not the main market, you stupid tripfag

No it's not.
