When is AMD going to launch the Ryzen 3 2100?

When is AMD going to launch the Ryzen 3 2100?

I'm sick of Intel having the only viable sub-$100 CPU (G4560 or for current-gen, the G5400)

Get the Ryzen 3 1200 man.

I meant "well under $100", the 1200 and 2200G are at $100.

G4560/G5400 are like $60-$70. When we gonna see Ryzen parts in that price range?

if you want cheap as cheap, just use the 2400G or the 2200G. save those dollars from not having to buy a dGPU

But anything faster than a G5400 isn't necessary with any GPU under a GTX 1070

Get a job and buy a better CPU

It's not about me buying the CPU. It's not for me.

>No one can possibly need more than two cores

Your grandma doesn't need anything from this generation. Get her a G3930 and call it a day.

There's rumored Ryzen-based Athlon

Did you get lost on your way to /pcbg/, retard?

What does this thread have to do with building a PC you fucking idiot?

How the hell that could make sense?

cry more poorfag intel is the brand for destitutes and their dual core trash.

Its actually even worse. Its a dual core with the retarded HYPERTHREADING bullshit neme, so actually each of the logical cores run like shit if you stress all (((4)))
1200 is a real quadcore with full core performance and without fucking hyperstreetshitting

newegg has the 1200 for 85$ with a free promo code

the 1200 is 70 bucks at microcenter faggot, and the 2200g is 80.

There was leak recently about an Athlon 200GE SKU, which will probably be priced to compete with Intel's pentiums, so I'd look for that in the near future

Probably the same way you have Celerons, Pentiums and Core i series Intel chips on the same process just with more or less features.

You're fucking retarded. Go back to your containment thread.

"no"

>G4560 or for current-gen, the G5400
but user, those are dual-core and have 3MB cache

Here in EU
>Pentium G4560 costs 65€
>Pentium G5400 costs 90€
>i3 8100 costs 105€
>Ryzen R3 1200 costs 100€
>Ryzen R3 2200G costs 98€

FX4300 is like $40 new these days.
4 real cores at 3.8-4.0 ghz

when its as bad as those chips,

AMD will released 2c/4t Athlon 200ge based on Raven Ridge
anandtech.com/show/12816/two-new-35w-raven-ridge-parts-exist-amd-athlon-200ge-and-athlon-pro-200ge

*four mostly real cores.

At least one competent answer.
/thread

its been under $100 for a while

Attached: under 100.png (1142x621, 351K)

just get 2200g.
free gpu to go and none of that ccx jumping.
2200g is faster than 1200.

And? If it's for a gaming PC it doesn't matter.

The 2300X and 2500X should be launching in late July at more aggressive pricing than previous gen launched at.

>G4560/G5400 are like $60-$70. When we gonna see Ryzen parts in that price range?
Those would be Athlons, not Ryzen.

2200G seems like the clear winner, there.

bought the 2600 one with a b350 mobo

guess what i forgot

bios update

ding ding ding
fuck amd

How is this AMDs fault?

they didn't told me that i'm an idiot

Take the motherboard to a local computer shop and ask them to flash it for you.

Did you get it like right after release? BIOS updates to support the Ryzen 2000 series started getting pushed in like January, anything in stores or warehouses should have the updates by now.

support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/2Gen-Ryzen-AM4-System-Bootup.aspx

"Short Term Processor Loan "Boot Kit"

AMD will offer affected and qualified users (as described below) a AMD AM4 A-series processor including thermal solution for short term use ("boot kit") to perform the BIOS update on their motherboard.

This short-term processor loan or boot kit is offered through AMD warranty services and is available only for qualified users that have made a valid purchase of a 2nd Gen Ryzen™ Desktop Processor and are affected by this specific boot up issue."

ask amd for a bootkit, monkey man

This is the first time I've seen any company going that far on motherboard support

Yeah it's pretty neat but I would just try a local shop first (or friend if you know anyone that autistic) because of the shipping turn-around time.

>$30 is that big of a deal

The fuck is wrong with you?

Poorfag gamer, probably.

If you're near a Microcenter you can get a 2200G for $80
