I'm not very familiar with pobeda, but the ebay page says it's a pobeda ZIM caliber 2602. They claim it's been serviced, but for $58 if it holds time less than a minute a day I will be happy.

Finally got my accutron 214 M5. It's much smaller than I expected it to be but It doesn't make it less desirable for me. It's running smoothly, and it's got good timing for the 2 days I've had it. I tried taking good pictures but my potato of a phone is not helping. Also, I want to change the straps, so any ideas /wt/ ? I was thinking of perlon straps
Amazing. Hands are funky though. I don’t even want to know how much that costs. Still, Cartier has been making some good shit for the last five years or so. They lost their way in regards to watchmaking for decades but they’ve really kicked it up a notch (or three).
Even though I know I shouldn’t, I REALLY want a Santos. I have a manual wind LC tank from 2012 in rose gold that’s lovely.
What is even more pathetic is if you can drop about $300 on a fake that says you have the means to buy the real one for a little under 3k with some patience. Nigger tier instant gratification.
Whats the consensus on the movement in the cheaper Tag Heuers? Like the Formula 1 Caliber 5?
Any other suggestions for something a little more sporty than dive watches? I dont want to spend Omega type money.

There will always ALWAYS be something wrong with what you ordered be it straps, bracelets, watches, accessories. When you get your item it will be a different shade of color, entirely different leather pattern, uneven stitching, incorrect lengths. The watches you buy will always feel 10x cheaper than what you paid for. It will look nice and affordable on paper but when you get it you will see its apparent that it is cheaply made and will have problems right out the box.
Every dollar I spent on the site was a waste of money. Just get an Orient or Seiko.
