So I just got a new computer. Just want to use it for work and simple shit. WHY THE FUCK IS THERE ALL THIS BULLSHIT PREINSTALLED AND WHY THE FUCK DOES IT NEED TO UPDATE EVERY GODDAMN DAY?

Anyway you can download a windows 10 iso and then just mount and install windows 10 again. After that there will be a windows.old file in C: , delete that.

As someone coming from Windows, you should have no problems using Mint with the Cinnamon DE, as it was designed to provide an easy transition. I personally got used to it within less than a week.

Just uninstall that shit, but leave the shit that actually makes your PC better. For my Dell laptop, I uninstalled everything but the driver update program and the FN key program (it has to do something with the FN keys and its functionality)
